The forgotten archives continues with this studio session with @mcrjamskate last year and a video of myself @annakate_skates practicing part of a routine I learnt from @paddy_roller whilst I was in Barcelona

⬇️90s THROWBACK MEMORIES⬇️
The smile says it all. This really took me back to Lizzy Park days for those that remember. The skate limbo competitions to win free entry the following week, a packet of Happy Snax Crisps and a tip top drink which, back in the day you obviously couldn't drink through a straw cuz that just wasn't cool. Flip it over and pierce a whole in the bottom with your teeth and Viola. Coolest Skater in the land 😄

I don't know why these pics never made it onto the grid. No idea what we were creasing up about🤣 But anyway, better late than never. Was so good catching up with @keepitfiz at @northern.roll thank you for your kind words and encouragement as I find my skate feet again! Was lovely to witness how your journey has grown with teaching line dancing. ☺️ See you again soon I'm sure 🛼

Don't let anyone EVER take away your joy. Spent more time crying happy tears than actually rollerskating 😅 but I'm so glad to be back doing what I love. I'm certainly a little rusty and my G- slide isn't quite there yet but like we say DRILL IT TILL YOU KILL IT!!!!!

Thank you @ramsterjams for a fantastic class!!Thank you @northern.roll particularly @maggiederu for being so accommodating despite the hiccup; if only you truly knew how important the day was for me🥹, I appreciate it beyond words! Thank you @rebeccalouisemoore for getting me there, what a rollercoaster it's been to get me back on my 8's. And thank you EVERY person that I caught up with, I appreciate the love, kindness and support. I've missed you all dearly- this is why there ain't no community like the skate community!🛼🔥🙌🏽🙏🏽 taken in Leeds, England, UK by @raq_n_roller

Offering no explanation for my song choice or the skater randomly passing half through the video...aside from that enjoy some jam practice 🤣🛼

When youre watching the sunset at your usual jam spot and you feel overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude that you can't help but unleash your inner 90s RnB star.
