Just a few days since we completed the 300hr Advanced Teacher Training with @love.and.all.is.coming and I’m still feeling the vibrations of this incredible experience within.

Since the very beginning of my journey with @talia_sutra , something profound began to shift within me. My āsana practice deepened, yes—but even more deeply, I began to understand yoga as a path of devotion. I knew I wanted to be guided by her.

Last November, during the 200hr TT in Puglia, everything started to land. What had once been only deep feelings began to take form. My practice, my way of teaching, my whole inner world—everything transformed.

And now, coming to Rishikesh for the 300hr Embodied Practice with those strong roots, the experience felt like coming home.

This time, everything expanded: my studies, my teaching, my heart.

Philosophy, Sanskrit, sacred texts, āsana, Ayurveda, anatomy—all approached with such grace and depth. I return feeling my heart four times bigger, stronger, and more rooted in love.

Thank you, Talia, for planting these luminous seeds. They are already growing within me.

I’m so proud of all of us 🥹🫶🏻 it has been so cool to share this training with such an amazing yoga teachers.

Sūtra 2.46 states: sthira-sukham āsana which is commonly translated as “A posture (āsana) [should be] steady (sthira) and comfortable (sukha)”.

According to Sūtra 2.46, a proper posture should be steady and comfortable. Originally this likely referred to meditation or seated postures. But as Hatha Yoga postures developed, the word āsana came to include all yoga postures.

“You are as young as your spine.”

This phrase from my anatomy teacher, @erin_bodyaware , has always stayed with me.

The spine is made to move, and it needs both strength and mobility to stay healthy. Passive flexion and compression can increase the load on the intervertebral discs, while extension and strengthening work train the muscles that support the spine.

That is why back-strengthening postures are such an important part of the sequences I teach, and a particular emphasis in the @love.and.all.is.coming practice I have been learning and sharing.

We should all be practising backbends every single day of our lives 😌

So, who is Unveiling not for?

If you’re looking for a week of doing nothing, and simply switching off, this probably isn’t it.

There will be rest, there will be nature, good food, time to slow down and space to breathe. But there is also inner work, this retreat is an invitation to turn your attention inwards, to explore, to feel, and to meet yourself a little more honestly; It’s about being willing to look within.

Over time, we’ve started to notice who tends to feel at home in this space. Not in a defined way, but in patterns:

People who feel the need to slow down.
Who sense that something in their life is shifting, even if they can’t quite name it yet.
People who are curious about working through the body, not only through thinking.
Who are open to feeling things as they come, without needing to have everything figured out in advance.
Sometimes, they arrive without a clear intention.
Just with the feeling that something is off, and that’s enough.
There is no right way to arrive here, no level of experience required.
No need to know exactly what you’re looking for.
Someone once shared that they arrived in a moment just like that, without clarity, only a quiet inner knowing.
And through the process, they found something much more honest within themselves.

According to Patañjali, the mind (citta) is made of 4 components:
Manas, Buddhi, Ahaṃkāra & Citta.
Each has its own role and all of them are necessary.
They are not parts of the mind we need to overcome, but tools through which we experience the world; to perceive, discern, remember, and create a sense of self. by @raqueldobato
