This day didn’t really feel like a music video shoot.
It was our usual Sunday skate session, and @protoje came through and spent the whole day with us. He checked out our spots, skated around, ate with us at our local spot, and just hung out with the crew.

It felt less like we were shooting a music video and more like we were just showing him our world and having a good time together. Big love to @protoje @addisgirlsskate x @samokush_i @fernandofhevia and shoutout to @gboxcreative my brother, for making this whole thing possible. by @rasabenezer

This styling piece unfolds within Merkato’s Minalesh Tera where relentless motion and instinct converge, presenting fashion as structure drawn from within living chaos.

Realized in collaboration with Director Firehiwot Berhane, Cinematographer Tedos Teffera and the production house Qene Films. Grateful for the collaboration, the belief, and the vision we shared, and to those who showed up early on a Sunday morning in support of this work.

Sometimes I still can’t believe it. What once was a dream when I was just a kid is now real. We built this together me and my brothers. The same crew that started skating with me, the same energy that built Ethiopia Skate. I’m proud of my people and proud of what skateboarding has done for us it connected us, gave us purpose, and made us dream bigger. #WEJUSTWANTTOSKATE ♠️ by @rasabenezer
