MY LIFE HAS BEEN LIKE A LONG RIDE
ON A BROKEN VEHICLE
FILLED WITH GLORIOUS MIRACLES
BUT SUDDENLY, UNPREDICTABLE OBSTACLES.

I’ve spent the last week and a bit workshopping my first full length play “Ogechi’s Salon” with this amazing group of people @melbtheatreco ! Turns out they all lied on their CV’s and failed to mention they model on the side too? Who do I report them to for the deception (disgrace)? Anyway, I’d tell you to come to the show but we’re sold out or whatever. Blessed and highly favoured iktr 💋🫶🏾🪮🫰🏾 by @rashidien

MTC’s CYBEC ELECTRIC Festival of New Writing is just around the corner! Rehearsed readings of three in-development plays will be presented 6-8 August. John Marc Desengano is directing COCAINE BUST, which Justin Wang will also be performing in, and Rashidi Edward will be performing in OGECHI’S SON. Hooray for new Australian work! 🎭👏💥 #AMM #AMMonstage by @rashidien

God knows we are all sick and tired of these lockdowns
God knows I’m lucky to be here, performing, with this talented bunch, when I could’ve easily been trapped in Melbourne. Super grateful!
