Thank you to all new followers! FYI : Rat records closed its doors two years ago and in the same premises it has been replaced by another record shop/music venue called @dashthehengestore ! Give them a visit!! But if you miss the Rat experience, it’s very much alive at @upsidedownrecords in Deptford! You will find the Rat team (Phil, Matt and André) in a new space with the same “priced to sell” etho, two listening posts and daily dose of new in records ! Get on board!!! taken in Upside Down Records by @ratrecords

Missing the rat records vibes, the affordable records and the listening posts? Have you visited @upsidedownrecords yet? Philippe, André and Matt who were the last team we had here have got a good thing running in Deptford and you should know they’re even opening late on Thursdays (9pm) for those finishing work too late!! You could also make a day out of south east London record shopping by starting at @dashthehengestore , moving on to @lorenzosrecordswanted, then off to @planetwaxuk followed by @upsidedownrecords , then onto @musicandvideoexchange in greenwhich and just a few doors away @casbahrecordsse10 !! #records #recordstore #recordshop #southeastlondon #recordshopping by @ratrecords

Hi there it’s been a while!
Just a quick word to inform you that Philippe, who you may all remember as the manager of Rat Records for a very long time indeed, is now running his own business: www.upsidedownrecords.co.uk @upsidedownrecords
Although he is still currently looking for an adequate retail location, Philippe has been busy buying record collections for a few months. So not too long now before you get this familiar feeling of shopping for cool records at the right price in a nice setting. His website is also online and I recommend you sign up to his newsletter to be kept in the loop- here : http://eepurl.com/iaSheP #recordshoplondon #upsidedownrecords #ratrecordsforever #ratrecords #newinvinyl by @ratrecords
