Dear all,

With a heavy heart and after a lot of thought, Rats and Daggers is coming to an end. We will play our goodbye show at Beware of Banshees on August 1st and will unfortunately not play the (aptly named) Good Grief tour with our good friends from Tusky.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has ever shown support, all the amazing people we got to meet, and all the opportunities that we got to share. Please know that we did not consider this decision lightly. After a lot of years and a lot of shows, our well has run dry and for our own mental health we need to find other sources.

We know this is abrupt, and we apologise for anyone who was looking forward to seeing us during the tour. We thank Tusky for understanding and we hope to see you during our last show.

✨️ SURPRISE 🌑 We found a hidden stash of Half Hanged EPs! A birthday surprise when Imara cleared out her storage this week. Soo, turns out we still have 40 EPs up for sale on the website. RATS and DAGGERS 🐀🗡❤️

Remember this oll shoot? Right after we released our first EP named RATS and DAGGERS. Well, it appears that what we thought was our backup stash of Half Hanged EPs, is another stash of the RATS and DAGGERS EPs. This means we don't have any Half Hanged EPs left AT ALL, but it also means we can sell a very small batch of 8 EPs (some people already found it in the store). So act quick babes, it's almost gone forever. 👀

And thank you for this thoughtful gift and your incredibly kind words. ❤️

Thank you for believing in @laybarerecordings and for being part of so many memorable moments. Playing Lay Bare Fest in London will always be one of the highlights.

Thank you for everything ❤️

This last show was a heavy one. Visceral and cathartic. We cannot explain how much it's meant to have everyone of you show up time and time again. We are incredibly proud to have also witnessed the growth of @bewareofbansheesfestival, like a sister. Keep showing up for eachother and this community and you will have special moments like this forever.

We love you, and we will miss you.

THANK YOU. 🖤👻

We're still finding glitter in our hair, bruises from the pit and words for what happened on Saturday. Because somehow... together, we made the biggest Beware of Banshees yet. A sold-out festival. Honest conversations. People moshing. Skateboards rolling. Activist bracelets being made. So many moments we'll carry with us for a long time. ⚔️

But none of this would've been possible without all of you. To our volunteers: thank you. 🖤 The craziest part? Some of you came up to thank us for letting you volunteer. But the truth is, we're the ones who should be thanking you. We simply couldn't have done it without you. 💪🏾 And to everyone who bought a ticket, travelled across the country (or even across borders 👀), moshed, learned, laughed, cried, skated, donated, listened and showed up...

From the bottom of our hearts... THANK YOU!

Beware of Banshees has always been a dream of what a loud music festival could feel like. On Saturday, all of you made that dream real. 💜

Last chance to say goodbye ❤️

This Saturday, we'll be playing our last show on @bewareofbansheesfestival at 22.45. Come see us one last time. We would love that. We're also selling all our merch as pay what you can for 10, 15 or 20 euros. We'll close the online shop pretty soon, too. So this might be your last chance to get some.
