It was a pleasure to participate in the World Heart Day Walkathon organised by the Rotary Club of Ottapalam.

I was delighted to be invited by my Rotarian friends Sri. Gopa Menon and Smt. Venus Menon to be part of this meaningful initiative. The walkathon was flagged off by Sri Anjeet Singh the Sub Collector of Ottapalam, with Adv. Dr. Krishnadas who’s the associate partner of this event .

With around 100 participants, including Rotarians and students of PK Das Medical College, it was wonderful to see people from different walks of life come together with a common message — care for our heart, care for our health, and build a stronger and healthier community.

The morning was not just about walking; it was about creating awareness, encouraging healthier living and celebrating the spirit of community participation.

A few moments captured in the Rotary Club of Ottapalam’s CRR Hall, with friends who made the occasion even more special. by @ravimadhavam

On this day, in September 2023…
We were in Kodaikanal. ❤️

Three beautiful days. ❤️

Acha , Amma , Unni ❤️

Golf. Hills. Good food.
Fun . Togetherness.

When Varun came home,
every day became a celebration.

Today is my birthday !
But there is no celebration for us without him …

The joy of our celebrations
was always in having him with us.

Today, we simply hold close
the beautiful memories he gave us.

We miss you, Unnikutta…
You are forever a part of every celebration,
every photograph,
and every beat of our hearts. ❤️

Some moments end.
Some memories never do…

Always remembered.
Always loved. ❤️ by @ravimadhavam

A US user asked why Indians eat with their hands, and Sanjeev Sanyal the noted historian and Principal Economic Advisor to the Government of India,
and a bestselling author known for his sharp wit and unfiltered commentary, gave the ultimate mic drop response !

“It is a simple test... if you cannot bear to touch it, and need metal instruments, then it is probably a bad idea to put it in your mouth.” 😂

Honestly, he nailed it! Think about it, everyone eats pizza, burgers, fries, and doughnuts with their bare hands without giving it a second thought. But as soon as rice and curry show up on a plate, suddenly it feels like we’re expected to use surgical grade stainless steel tools. ! 😂 by @ravimadhavam
