المساحات اللي بنعيش وبنتحرك فيها مش دايمًا بتكون متاحة للجميع بنفس الشكل؛ فيه أصوات بتاخد مساحة وبتتسمع بسهولة، وأصوات تانية بتفضل مهمشة، وفيه ناس بتقدر تعبر عن نفسها بحرية أكتر من غيرها.

بالتعاون مع المنتدى الثقافي النمساوي، بنقدم "خلق المساحات.. نقاش حول الممارسات النسوية في الفنون رقميًا وماديًا"، نقاش بيجمع فنانين وباحثين وممارسين من المشهد الثقافي في القاهرة لمناقشة إزاي الممارسات النسوية بتخلق مساحات جديدة وبتعيد تشكيل المساحات الموجودة، وإزاي التكنولوجيا الرقمية بتأثر على طرق تواصلنا وتفاعلنا مع العالم اللي حوالينا.

وبعد النقاش، تونيكا هانتر، الفنانة والـDJ من أصول جامايكية المقيمة في فيينا، هتقدم فقرة DJ تختم بيها الأمسية من خلال موسيقى متنوعة.

Space is never neutral. Who gets to occupy it, whose voices are heard, and who gets to express themselves within it are questions that shape both our physical and digital worlds.

In collaboration with the Austrian Cultural Forum, D-CAF hosts Making Space: Feminist Practices Across Digital and Physical Worlds in the Arts. Bringing together artists, researchers, and practitioners from Cairo’s cultural scene, the discussion explores how feminist practices create, reclaim, and transform spaces, and how digital technologies shape the ways we connect and engage with the world around us.

Following the discussion, London-born, Vienna-based artist of Jamaican heritage Tonica Hunter will close the evening with a DJ set, bringing together diverse musical influences through sound.

إيه اللي نقدر نورّثه لغيرنا لما نفقد كل حاجة؟ من خلال ذكرياته عن الحروب المتتالية في غزة، بيحوّل الفنان الفلسطيني محمد القدوة في عرض "٣ فصول وجسد" تجربة المنفى والوجع لكلمات وحركة، باستخدام المزج بين المسرح والرقص والحكي والكاراتيه، بيحاول محمد يعبر عن الفقد، وذكريات الناس اللي سابهم وراه، وعن إزاي نقدر نحافظ على الذكريات دي وننقلها لغيرنا. من خلال الجسد والكلام، بيلاقي محمد طريقة يعبّر بيها عن حاجات صعب تتقال بالكلمات لوحدها.

العرض يقدم ضمن موسم البحر المتوسط ٢٠٢٦ المقدم من السفارة الفرنسية في مصر والمعهد الفرنسي في مصر، وبدعم من مؤسسة ساويرس للتنمية الاجتماعية.

What can we pass on when we have lost everything? Drawing on his memories of growing up through successive wars in Gaza, Palestinian artist Mohammed Al Qudwa transforms exile and pain into words and movement. Blending theatre, dance, storytelling, and karate, 3 Seasons and 1 Body explores the weight of loss, the memories of those left behind, and the struggle to keep them alive. Through body and language, Mohammed finds a way to express what words alone cannot.

This show is part of the Saison Méditerranée 2026 presented by the Embassy of France in Egypt and the French Institute in Egypt, with the support of the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development.

في عرض سِجلّ، بتعيد الفنانة والممثلة والكاتبة والمخرجة كريستيل خضر، المقيمة في بيروت، بالتعاون مع نديم دعيبس، أصوات اللي شهدوا حصار مخيم تل الزعتر سنة ١٩٧٦ للمسرح من جديد. بالاعتماد على تسجيلات أرشيفية وشهادات الممرضة السويدية إيفا ستول، وطبيب المخيم يوسف العراقي، والصحفي أندرس هاسلبوهم، بتعيد كريستيل بناء تاريخ الحصار، وبتستحضر أصوات وشهادات لسه بتحاول تلاقي مكانها وسط التضليل والإفلات من العقاب.

إنتاج ريكستياتيرن، المسرح الوطني السويدي للجولات، ومسرح دي تيز فان سي دي إن بمونبلييه، بالاشتراك مع المسرح الوطني بإقليم والونيا وبروكسل والمسرح الوطني الكتالوني في برشلونة.

In Record, Beirut-based artist Chrystèle Khodr, together with Nadim Deaibes, brings the voices of those who witnessed the 1976 siege of Tel al-Zaatar camp back to the stage. Drawing on archival recordings and testimonies of Swedish Nurse Eva Ståhl, camp doctor Youseef el-Iraqi, and journalist Anders Hasselbohm. She reconstructs a history that continues to echo through the present, where stories of violence remain buried beneath misinformation and impunity.

Produced by Riksteatern – Sweden’s National Touring Theatre, and Théâtre des 13 vents CDN Montpellier, in co-production with Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles and Teatre Nacional de Catalunya, Barcelona.

"بطن السكينة" هو عرض رقص معاصر بيجمع ٤ راقصين بيتحدوا التعريفات الغربية للرقص والأداء، والتوقعات المفروضة عليهم. الراقصين هنا بيحاولوا يعيدوا صياغة معنى الرقص المعاصر، مستلهمين أفكارهم من الرقص الشرقي والمهرجانات وممارسات الرقص الحضري من مصر والمنطقة. العرض إنتاج دولي مشترك بين مصر وألمانيا.

Who gets to perform, and why? What happens when dance is displaced from its original context? What is the role of the audience in receiving and interpreting a dancing body?

“Knife Hearts” is a contemporary dance performance that brings together four dancers who challenge Western definitions of dance and performance, as well as the expectations imposed on them. Drawing on raqs sharqi, mahraganat, and urban dance practices from Egypt and the region, the dancers expand and reconfigure the vocabulary of contemporary dance. The performance is an international co-production between Egypt and Germany

⁨ عرضين رقص معاصر: "بلا أجنحة" و"الحزن يخيم عليّ"

عرض "بلا أجنحة" هو رحلة في استكشاف التراث والثقافة الأيرلندية، بيحول إحساس الفقد لحكاية مستوحاة من الفولكلور. ومن خلال المزج بين الموسيقى الحديثة والتراثية، بيقدم عمل حركي بيعتمد على السرد الجسدي لاستكشاف الذاكرة والتحول والحكايات اللي بتفضل عايشة عبر الزمن.

"الحزن يخيم عليّ" أو Tá Brón Orm هو مجموعة قصص من تاريخ أيرلندا. العرض بيؤديه أحمد غريب وسارة جبر وشادي عبدالرحمن، و بيعبر العمل عن حزن عالمي بسبب فقدان اللغة والثقافة نتيجة للتحولات الاجتماعية و السياسية في العالم.

العرضين من تصميم رقص مايكل ماكڤوي، و بيشارك كمؤدي في عرض "بلا أجنحة".

Two contemporary dance performances: The Fallen and Tá Brón Orm.

The Fallen is a journey through Irish heritage and culture, transforming grief into a story inspired by folklore. Blending contemporary and traditional music, the work uses physical storytelling to explore memory, transformation, and the stories that continue to live on across generations.

Tá Brón Orm is a metaphoric narrative rooted in the context of historical Ireland. Performed by Ahmed Ghareeb, Sara Gabr, and Shady Abdelrahman, the work expresses a global grief over the loss of language and culture brought about by extreme social and political upheaval.

Both performances are choreographed by Michael McEvoy, who also performs in The Fallen.
