Cowdray’s much-loved Apple Day and our next Run the Seasons race with @rawenergyman are just around the corner on Saturday, 10th October! 🍎🏃

Back for its fourth year, our Run the Seasons series kicks off this October, with races for both adults and children. It’s the perfect opportunity to start collecting your 2026/27 medals, with this year’s medals designed to interlink into one complete line.

Our autumn race coincides with Apple Day, when we’ll be celebrating all things apple! From pressing your own apples and taking part in an apple orchard hunt to apple crafts, apple skittles and more, plus the Great Apple Bake Off and a delicious selection of apple-themed food and drink, it’s set to be a fantastic day in the Cowdray Farm Shop Courtyard.

*This year, we’ll be ticketing the event, so please book your complimentary tickets via our website. This is simply to help us manage numbers and ensure there are plenty of apple-themed delights for everyone!

Such a lovely morning - swimming with swans on the adur 5k swim.

The water felt like a bath when we all got in.

Photos show a bit of fisty cuffs in the mass start - I’m in the pink cuffs.

Really fun, great event @rawenergyman

What a fantastic evening at the Ferring 5’n’5 Trail Run! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A huge thank you to everyone who ran, volunteered and supported the event last Friday. It was brilliant to see so many running clubs, smiling faces and such a great atmosphere in the sunshine.

Thanks to Mike at @rawenergyman for organising the races, @resultsbaseltd for the timings, Sussex Sport Photography for the photos and @tgfruits for donating our amazing raffle fruit hamper.

Every finisher received a special double sided medal, celebrating Ferring Country Centre’s 40th Anniversary, and we’re delighted the event has raised over £1,500!

Congratulations to all our race winners and to everyone who took part – especially the 50 children in the Junior Series.

Same time next year?
