Happy Friday Family! Flashback to about two weeks ago at the press conference after final arguments in our lawsuit against the state of Texas. This is your reminder to go VOTE TODAY and every chance you get! They are actively working to make it harder to vote and take away your right to vote. Special thanks to our attorneys at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the Women of Delta Sigma Theta for partnering with us in this fight. #Vote #VoteEarly #VotingRights #DST #LDF #TX #FBF taken in Texas by @ray_shack

Every year I now take this time to reflect on the actual history and current state of our country; not our ideals and aspirations. On this day in 1776 we all were not free and the same holds true today. The recent outcomes from SCOTUS are a reminder of both how far we've come and how much further we still have to go. I invite you to do the same and reflect on what you can do to help this country become what it far too often already claims to be. @financial_scientist and I enjoyed an incredible evening at the Legacy in Bloom: Investing in Tomorrow Gala! I truly enjoyed being part of an evening centered around generosity, recognition, and investing in the next generation. @100blackmenhtx continue to create meaningful opportunities for youth leadership and development, and it was an honor to celebrate the impact being made in our community. An amazing evening of great people, great energy, and an even greater purpose!
