Wellness events and classes are probably my favorite to photograph.

There’s something about the energy, the connection, and the way people show up fully present that makes these events so much fun to capture. Everyone is there to move, connect, laugh, challenge themselves, and genuinely enjoy the experience.

I recently photographed a corporate sports event, and it reminded me just how important it is to create space for connection outside of work. Time to move, recharge, connect with your team, meet people who share your passions, and simply enjoy spending time together.

This shoot was also a lesson on how much goes into capturing these moments well: timing, lighting, movement, and knowing when to step back and let the moment happen naturally.

The best event photos are the ones that bring you right back to how it felt to be there. Looking back at these photos, I can genuinely feel how much fun everyone was having that day, and that’s my favorite part of photography. Capturing the little moments, the big laughs, the connections, and the energy that you might not fully appreciate until you look back.

Palm trees and 75 degrees at @pinesandpalmsresortislamorada 🌴🌊

Had the best stay shooting at this beautiful resort. They’ve recently renovated and it truly shows. Every detail is stunning. The weather was perfect, the staff was so welcoming, and I felt completely at home here. I did not want to leave.

No one talks about how beautiful it is to watch your best friend move through the best seasons of her life. I’ve known Ashley since high school. The oldest of six, someone who has poured love into the people around her her entire life, who always dreamed of a big family of her own one day.

And then Colby broke his ankle. 🤪

The day they met they were out on the boat with friends. One wrong step, and Ashley, working in ortho trauma at the time, was of course the one to take him to the hospital. One unlucky but luckiest day of his life, and it’s been happily ever after since.

Fast forward to last Monday. Ashley was running LATE, flying across street crossings to make her courthouse appointment. She made it in the nick of time and they walked out with their marriage certificate. We spent the hour after shooting around West Palm Beach, just the two of them glowing.

Everyone’s favorite person found her favorite person. I can’t wait to watch you marry the love of your life and build that big beautiful family you always dreamed of, Ash. So happy for you both. 🤍👩‍❤️‍👨💍
