Injury hits, surgery comes, but I’ll rise every time. If pain makes me great, let it come. This is what I’m fighting to get back to. ✝️⏳#faith #faithoverfear✝️ #acl #comebackszn #basketball by @rayasmar3

Ray Asmar is an explosive 2009-born player for NSA, standing at 186 cm. With a 41-inch vertical, he is known as one of the highest jumpers in his age group. His ability to dominate fast breaks, secure rebounds, and lock down opponents in one-on-one defense makes him a force on both ends of the court. He has trained three times with NBA skills coach Joshua Villareal—once in Turkey, once in Georgia at Zaza Pachulia Academy (ZPA), and once in Lebanon—as well as with Joshua Dudley in Lebanon, further sharpening his game.

In 2023, he helped NSA secure 3rd place in the Jr. NBA and showcased his athleticism by winning the dunk contest. He consistently puts up double-doubles, using his rebounding ability to impact games. He earned a half scholarship to a school in the USA but was unable to attend due to visa issues.

Ray was also 2nd in Mad League but missed the semifinals and finals due to injury. In the Play It Forward school league, he proved his elite scoring ability, averaging 38 PPG, with two games scoring 50 points, earning a Top 5 Award.

A dynamic, high-flying athlete with a relentless motor, Ray Asmar is a name to watch for the future. by @rayasmar3
