The first word that came to mind after 12 months of loving Legacy was ‘Agape’. My finale, my sweet ending to birthing, my firecracker, my cuddle bug, daddies twin, my 0 to 100 third born, my FOREVER baby - Happy 1st birthday to my Leggie 🎂 My world has been turned upside down with Legacy in all the best ways. I pray this year comes with a lot less illness 🙏🏽 and many more cuddles. Legacy loves to scoot around on her butt and refuses to crawl. Her sisters are still her favorite humans, and Mickey Mouse is coming up in the #2 spot. She has become a foodie with meat being her favorite and fruit a close second. She still loves her bottle 🍼 of formula - which is coming to an end 🫣. She is a great sleeper but still likes to wake up around 5am for an early morning snack 🥴. Legacy is not a fan of strangers, but once she gets comfortable with you be prepared for those little hands to see if she can poke your eyeball before you close it. Somehow this past 12 months has flown by…. I barely remember what life was like without Legs in it. I want time to slow down but I also cannot wait for her to talk, walk, and expand her imagination. I feel blessed to call her mom - please wish my little Legs a Happy Birthday 🩷 by @raychelhr

My sweet Lyric is 3. I can remember when she was 6 months old nursing constantly and not sleeping - how fast life hit us 🥹 Lyric is sweet, silly, compassionate, kind, cautious, extremely smart, emotionally intelligent and knows what she wants. A lot has happened over the past year - moving up in daycare classes, trying gymnastics, starting ballet, potty training, learning to kick a ball, and building more confidence overall. I feel blessed to be able to watch her grow. While I don’t understand her love for Spidey, I appreciate when she indulges me and watches Fancy Nancy and Kindergarten Musical. I cannot wait to see how she matures over the next year and I won’t lie … I’m excited for a future with less tantrums 😝 Please help me wish little RiRi a very Happy Birthday 💜💜💜 by @raychelhr

Legacy Rose 🌹 has me wrapped around her little finger. I can’t believe it’s been 11 months. This last month was so much fun as we dodged illness, finally. I don’t know why these McBride babies have no interest in walking or crawling, but I am embracing it. It means more cuddles and more time to help her communicate before she does get moving and exploring the house. She is scooting around on her butt, waving to say hello/goodbye, and babbling like crazy. She still isn’t saying mama (because she knows I want her to so bad 🙃). She loves watching Ms. Rachel and Mickey Mouse clubhouse. Since she stopped nursing, she has fallen in love with the pacifier and never wants to let it go 🤷🏽‍♀️. She has 5 teeth 🦷 and is doing so much better eating solid food. Her hair has started to grow and her eczema is practically gone. She is sleeping better but not sleeping through the night consistently just yet. She has moved to her new daycare room and slowly adjusting to 1 nap a day (she still takes 2 on the weekends). Lyric continues to be the one person who can always make her laugh and she loves a good stroller ride. She used to not be a huge fan of story time and would slam the books closed, but now she sits and listens 😋. I cannot wait to see how she continue to change over the next few months. Both girls celebrate their birthday in September and we are hoping Legacy will be walking by Christmas, like her sister did when she was 13 months. Legacy is still not a people pleaser, if she isn’t feeling you so will let you know. If she wants something or doesn’t like something - you will hear it in her grunting. She goes from 0 to 100, and she is keeping us on our toes. We love you Legs, happy 11 months on earth 🩷 by @raychelhr

They say when you hit 5 years of marriage the foundation has been built. The root system of your tree has formed and it starts to bloom. The same thing is said about a child’s brain at age 5. There is something about this milestone that feels so, SPECIAL. It’s crazy how much we have experienced in 5 years … Covid 😩, 2 kids, 3 moves, and navigating careers. We have been tested and remained steady with Gods plan ❤️ I pray that as we enter this season of “blooming” that God make our connection even stronger. I am grateful to have the title of wife, proud to be on #TeamMcBride, and excited for what the future holds. My Sweet Legs, how has it been 10 months already?! Those long legs are still kicking like crazy and your personality is really coming through. You have a point of view and you let everyone know it - which is why sleep training is taking a little extra time 🤪 You have started to spin and scoot on your butt, but have no desire to crawl or stand just yet. Your laugh and smile is so infectious - I am so anxious to hear all the things you have to say. Your bond with your sisters is the sweetest - Raya and Lyric are seriously your favorite people! You are waving hello and goodbye and babbling much more. This age is so much fun as we watch you embrace each development leap. I hope you know how much you are loved. Yesterday my little “wild one” hit 9 months. Her nickname - Legs - is so appropriate because her long legs have outgrown her car seat and clothes. She has the cutest laugh and loves making spit bubbles. She is still not a fan of drinking milk or eating, but she loves drinking water from a straw. She is doing a great job pushing her chest off the floor but is struggling to get that belly up to begin crawling. She loves to hear herself scream and babble 😛 and seems to take pride in her routines such as finding her favorite toys in the bathtub or her favorite book in her room. She is sleeping better at night but refuses to miss the fun at daycare - so she takes 30 minute naps 😵‍💫. It is so much fun watching her grow and I can’t believe we are just 3 months away from her first birthday 😩🥹. We love you Leggie ❤️ by @raychelhr

Look who turned 8 months today. My little Lay Lay … you are the cuddliest baby and I am obsessed with your little hugs. Of course you say da-da first because you are his twin. You give a mean side-eye, but you also laugh so loud and act extremely silly with your sister. You still are not a big fan of milk but you are enjoying trying new foods - applesauce and green beans seem to be the winners so far. Your sister keeps making you watch Encanto but it’s clear you prefer Ms. Rachel. You absolutely hate getting in your car seat, but you love falling asleep on the ride. You don’t have much interest at all in rolling or crawling, but you are doing much better with tummy time and floor exercises. You definitely don’t sleep through the night due to all the colds and ear infections… but we are getting to the other side of it. It has been so fun watching you grow and love being your momma 🩷 Happy 8 months on this side 🙌🏽🙏🏽 by @raychelhr
