Sobbing, laughing, celebrating! 🎉

Intimacy Coordinators are unionized with SAG-AFTRA!!! 🥳

This was about 6 years in the making!

It’s 2019 - Alicia Rodis was on the Deuce and had coined Intimacy Coordinator as a term. Jessica Steinrock and me went to the SAG-AFTRA offices in LA to take a meeting that Alicia was too swamped to take. She had already met with SAG-AFTRA and we were so excited to keep the ball rolling!

We met David White at the SAG-AFTRA offices and explained the job of an Intimacy Coordinator and we talked about a vision of a world where they were on all SAG-AFTRA sets.

He was so excited and supportive of our ideas. That moment will always feel so vivid and clear and real and thrilling. It felt like we were making history right there.

Today - back in the SAG-AFTRA offices (all over the country!!!) another moment in history was made ❤️💪🌈

I’m so proud to be a part of the intimacy coordinator legacy 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🩷🤍🩵🤎🖤🩶💖

I’m so excited! It’s finally happening! Intimacy coordinators are unionizing with SAG-AFTRA! Intimacy coordinators help make systems and structures to make hyper exposed material more approachable, efficient, and creative at work. I’m so thankful that we will have support as we continue to serve this ever changing industry. ❤️ #intimacycoordinator #sagaftrastrong #sagaftramember #safersets by @rayro22

After over a month of traveling on and off it’s time to get back at it in person with @missfit_bennett 💪💕 but y’all she’s been moving so she’s getting spicy with me on these exercises 🌶️🥵 The champ needs a nap! 😂 But seriously I have no complaints because the results are real! 💖👊

How do I start every rehearsal?

1. I regulate my nervous system with deep breaths and a centering practice.

2. I give my body what it needs.

3. Orient on gratitude and set my intentions for rehearsal.

4. Tag myself into work with a physical gesture to bookend my day with later!
