The number one thing customers hate about a new floor?

Unnecessary, bulky transition pieces between the hallway and the bedroom. They look terrible and can be a trip hazard 🛑

If you see this in someone’s home, you can be sure they hired an inexperienced flooring installer🙈

We take the time to map out the layout so the boards flow completely seamless and flush through every single room. No breaks, no trip hazards, just pure craftsmanship. 🔨

Don’t let an inexperienced contractor cut corners in your home. 👇 Reach out to lock in a flawless, seamless installation!

DID YOU KNOW YOUR FLOORING HAS A PATENT?!? 🤯

That clicking system that locks your LVP planks together? It’s more complicated than you think!

🔒 Many LVP manufacturers pay licensing fees to use patented locking technology.

💰 And those fees are built into the cost of your flooring!

It’s one of those things most homeowners never think about, but it’s a big part of what makes modern LVP work.

At Rays Flooring, we love showing you what’s behind the products we sell!

Ever wonder how you finish LVP around a fireplace? 👀

This is one of those details that can make or break the finished look.

Robert shows exactly how we handle the last row around a fireplace so you get a clean, professional finish — without ugly gaps or a sloppy transition.

It’s the little details that separate a flooring install from a good flooring install. 👊

Save this one if you’re installing LVP yourself.

🔥 JACKSON ST. | WEEK 5

Day 1 → Now

3 of 4 units are officially renovated. 🔨

New kitchens. New bathrooms. New floors. New everything.

Not bad for 5 weeks…

The final unit will get its transformation once our tenant moves out in May. We’ll start marketing the units for rent this weekend, with the finishing touches on the exterior coming early next week.

Couldn’t be happier with how these turned out. Now it’s time to get them rented and welcome some new tenants. 🏠

From police officer to real estate investor. 👮‍♂️➡️🏠

I sold him his first investment property years ago, and it’s been pretty awesome watching what he’s built since then.

Today, we still get to work together — helping fund his deals and handling the flooring as he continues buying and renovating properties.

This is one of my favorite parts of this business: building long-term relationships and watching people succeed.

Keep going, brother. 👊

The beauty of site-finished hardwood is unmatched—you just have to know how to care for it. 🪵✨

There’s nothing quite like authentic, site-finished hardwood. It adds timeless elegance, warmth, and long-term value to your home that synthetic materials simply try to copy.

Because real wood is a natural product, it ages and lives with your home.

While high-performance LVP is built for maximum scratch resistance in heavy-traffic zones, site-finished hardwood offers unmatched rich detail, depth, and the ability to be refinished for generations.

It’s not about which option is “better”—it’s about choosing the right fit for your home’s aesthetic and your daily lifestyle.
Which style are you putting in your dream home? Let us know below! 👇
