On a whim I joined a film competition earlier this year to make a 3 minute film in 3 weeks. It was a challenge that pushed me well out of my comfort zone. Our team were put together by the organisers. We didn’t know each other, or what skills each would bring to the table. But that didn’t matter. We shared our strengths and nurtured new ones to create something profoundly beautiful... and our film, Scatter, was born. Earlier this year I took part in a film challenge to make a 3-minute film over 3 weeks with a team of strangers hosted by @square_lens_alliance. I joined the filmmaking bootcamp on the fly and it turned out to be the beginning of a beautiful journey of open collaboration, skills sharing and personal development. I was blessed to be put together with an incredibly talented and supportive team and we made something really special. Throughout the whole process we worked with open hearts and met some wonderfully generous people along the way. Au revoir 2024! It's been a year. A whirlwind of travel, beautiful adventures, tandem cycling, paragliding, 15ft high dragons, swing dancing, roller skating, radio programmes, writing and not to forget showering in front of the nation (!). This year has been both wildly busy and strangely quiet. Go figure! A special shout out to @traveleyesltd and @theamarlatif – working with you has been an absolute joy and seeing the incredible impact of Traveleyes firsthand in Andalucia, India and Tenerife has truly been inspiring.
