Rutherford County, it’s time to make our voices heard!

Early voting is underway, and there’s no need to wait until Election Day to cast your ballot. Make a plan, check your polling location, and bring a friend along!

Use this guide to understand who and what will be on your ballot. In addition to races for Governor, U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and state races, there are also three proposed constitutional amendments, and some local races as well.

The RCDP EC strongly recommends voting ‘NO’ on all three constitutional amendments. Please read through our explanations on slide 4 to learn more.

View all early voting locations on the last slide. Vote at any of the early voting locations from now until October 29.

In August, we showed the entire country what we are capable of when we come together and show up to the polls. Let’s do it again for the midterms! 💙

Showing up. Listening. Making sure every neighbor has a seat at the table.

That’s the type of State Senator I want to be.

Whether we vote the same way, see eye to eye, or come from different walks of life—you deserve someone who shows up for you, Rutherford County!

Your voice matters. Your questions matter. And your representation should never depend on your party, your paycheck, or who you know.

I’m running to represent ALL of District 13. And that starts with showing up. 💙 taken in Rutherford County by @rcdp4tn

On October 12, I had the opportunity to speak before the Rutherford County Planning Commission in support of a proposed moratorium on AI data centers.

As our county continues to grow, we need to take a closer look at the potential impacts of these facilities, including:

• Increased electricity and water consumption
• Potential increases in utility costs for residents
• Environmental concerns and long-term economic benefits

I’m not against progress!! I believe responsible development should always come first.

I’m encouraged by the Planning Commission’s support for the proposed moratorium, but the process isn’t over! The proposal is scheduled to go before the Rutherford County Commission on October 15 for further consideration.

I encourage everyone to stay informed and make their voices heard. These decisions affect all of us.

Progress is important, but responsible progress matters even more. taken in Rutherford County by @rcdp4tn

TONIGHT IS A HUGE WIN FOR RUCO!

While the moratorium is only for RuCo unincorporated areas, we all know that this passing in the planning committee is a true testament to voting in people who care! We now need to make sure it gets passed by the full commission!

Let’s also make sure Murfreesboro, Smyrna, La Vergne, and Eagleville are covered too!

Be sure to thank a county commissioner this week!
AND
KEEP THIS MOMENTUM GOING!

EARLY VOTING STARTS WEDNESDAY!

Pull up! Let’s Wynn this thing! taken in Rutherford County by @rcdp4tn

Many local campaigns for August proposed a data center moratorium and tonight the Rutherford County Planning Commission has a public comment period on the proposed resolution for a 6 month moratorium.

Anyone that wishes can have 3 minutes to speak on the issue and you do not need to sogn up beforehand.

Meeting is at 6PM at the Historic County Courthouse on the Murfreesboro square on the 2nd floor. taken in Rutherford County by @rcdp4tn
