it’s been such a long time since i posted, and i’ve missed you all so much!!
with my first year of uni, i kinda got caught up in all the work and getting used to everything, so i didn’t have that much time to read.

i’m currently reading say you swear, and i’m absolutely obsessed with it. noah has completely swept me off my feet and raised my standards even higher (didn’t know that was even possible). why haven’t i picked this book up sooner?!!
ever since boys of brayshaw high, i knew i would love anything by meagan, so i can’t wait to dive deeper into this universe.

#whatsthisweek x bookshelfie 💌

as you might have noticed I haven’t really
been that active these past weeks so I thought I would do a little update 💋

reading 📖: haven’t had much time to read but the next books I want to start is hot for slayer and bride so excited for these I’m also currently packing the books I want to take with me it’s soo hard to choose
(also my cousin just told me she wants to read deep end so excited for her reactions 🤭)

watching 🍿: if you know me you know that I’m always watching a million series at once but here are the main ones I’m loving so far
- currently on season 6 of supernatural I’m loving every second thank you to my girl @lovewithliya for putting me back on it
- saw a tt about the way home and I’m hooked the storyline is so interesting and I’m currently on season 2
- I’m also very much excited for season 2 of maxton hall if you think I’ve been talking non stop about tsitp prepare to be sick of me 🙂‍↕️

doing📦:
I’m currently moving into my student dorm since I’m moving to a new city for uni so I’m currently doing a LOT of packing time has flown by so fast I can’t believe I’m starting my first year next week <3 so since this is all new to me I don’t know how active I’m going to be these next weeks but I will try my best to balance both xx

goodbye cousins 🐚

this series will always hold a special place in my heart. I remember reading the first book when I was 15 and instantly falling in love with Belly and Conrad’s story. now four years later, I’ve just finished watching their journey on TV and what a ride it has been. seeing the characters brought to life was incredible and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect cast.
It’s such a bittersweet feeling to say goodbye after they’ve been part of my summers for so long (seriously, what am I supposed to watch now?). I’ve loved sharing and seeing your reactions every wednesday and I’ll truly miss it.

enemies to lovers own my heart💋

there’s just something about this trope that gets me every.single.time.
I adore it when it’s done right, especially in fantasy or in mafia books when they can be actual enemies and the tension is unmatched (knife to the throat kinda thing iykyk)
I’ve had my eye on this hoodie for weeks after seeing it all over my fyp and I finally grabbed one!! Isn’t it the cutest thing ever I’m obsessed with it xx

Problematic Summer Romance 🍋
4.5 ⭐️
Can’t believe it has already been a month since I’ve read this masterpiece. I’m still not over MayaConor and I might never be their story had me obsessed.
I missed the feeling of staying up until 3am, not being able to put down the book and PSR gave me exactly that. It had me giggling and screaming at every little interaction, the slow burn and yearning was amazing. Conor “I just wanted to listen to you exist” Harkness is everything to me. If Ali is excellent at one thing, it’s writing her men OBSESSED with their women and Conor was no exception.
My first summer romance this year and it did not disappoint can’t wait to reread.

for me tsitp is the definition of summer and I can’t wait for the final chapter to start (bonrad is finally coming home!!)

This book took forbidden love to another level. It had me anxious most of the time, and I simply couldn’t put it down right from the start the story pulled me right in. It features a celestial academy, slow burn romance, tension that will drive you crazy, secrets that will leave your jaw on the floor, angels and demons(who doesn’t love that?)and the start of the best found family one can want.

Hunter Caine is MY MAN!! He immediately shot to the top of my favourite book men list! He’s everything I need and want, and I’m obsessed with him.

Grace and Hunter are just so perfect for each other, in a tragic kind of way (if they don’t have to defy all odds to be together are they really in love?) He helps her through her panic attacks, she tends to his wounds, he trains her,she helps deal with something from his past. The sarcastic grump and the anxious sunshine a perfect match not ment to survive.

I’m still not over that ending… be prepared to have your heart broken and grab some tissues because one thing is for sure: they will be fighting for their happy ending.
If you love the vibes of Fallen, Vampire Academy and Shadowhunters this book is made for you!

Just looking at my edits makes me miss them sm I will be rereading soon when I have my physical copy so I can annotate all the beautiful quotes.

One of my most anticipated reads of the year I was lucky enough to get an ARC for and I will never shut up about them<3

I had such a fun time reading this book; it’s the perfect summer read. I was constantly laughing because of the banter between Claire and Miles, and because Claire is such a fun FMC that makes you want to enjoy every single moment(definitely making a summer bucket list because of her). These two are simply made for each other and balance each other out in the best way possible. I love their grumpy x sunshine dynamic so much <3 This book was filled with all the tropes you need: ex’s older brother, forced proximity (they have to be roommates), summer bucket list, age gap, grumpy x sunshine, the cutest small-town dynamic, and the best flirting and banter.
Its out now and trust me, you don’t want to miss out on these two xx

This book was everything I needed and so much more. It felt like finally coming home just seeing everyone again made me so happy and emotional. I truly will never get tired of this universe. Miss Mafi is such a genius; the way she set up this story was amazing, and the plot made perfect sense. I’m so excited and anxious to see what will happen next because I know she will give us something crazy. James is just so hilarious; I adore him. I really liked that we got to see so much of him the way he thinks, his personality, and his morals. And I loved seeing him interact with the others; it made me feel so nostalgic <3
Rosabelle made me feel so much for her. She’s such a complex character, and I can’t wait to see how she and James develop throughout this series. I was so happy that we got to see what everyone was up to from the original series while still focusing on James and Rosabelle’s story. I just have to say that Aaron got so much hotter with age, that man is the loml. This new storyline gave me the chills like Klaus is scary as hell. There are so many questions in my mind that I need answers to. That cliffhanger left me needing the second book right now! I’m so intrigued.
Can’t wait to see what happens next xx

Also, this edition of watch me is GORGEOUS!! I’m just staring at it every day with the character card right beside it🤭
