the lovely @lunecoffeebrew kindly sent me a box full of coffee goodies so let’s make a coffee together 🤎

this box included-

⟡ moonlight brew salted caramel
⟡ cinnamoon syrup

this coffee tasted absolutely devine! as a self proclaimed iced coffee queen, i can confidently say this coffee was a 10/10! the coffee flavour was rich & so tasty. the golden midnight syrup was sweet but not sickly, it was the perfect addition to the coffee and the vanilla fusion blended everything together beautifully! ✨

the lion & the deathless dark 🗡️⭒˚。💜⋆ ⁺₊

4.5☆

[ad/pr/gifted]

this was my first ever @carissabroadbentbooks book and it did not disappoint! i actually didn’t realise that this was the fifth book in the series but the way it was written, everything was explained perfectly! the world building was incredible.

we follow our divine warrior, kyrene and our vampire prince, septimus. kyrene is probably one of my favourite female characters i’ve read about. she’s fierce, full of rage & unapologetically herself! septimus, septimus, septimus!! the vampire of all vampires. i am OBSESSED with him. he was snarky, a survivalist & sooo cunning!

a very special mention to zefiah, the sword that kyrene wields throughout this book! her sarcastic nature was one of my favourite parts of this book. zefiah was entertaining, had a slightly motherly touch whilst also being powerful!

i need the next book like immediately because the last 10% was PAIN. also, im definitely going to read the first four books very soon!! i would most definitely recommend going in blind because it enhances the reading experience!

thank you so much to @bookbreakuk for sending me this gorgeous proof copy 💜

daybreak🏰💜🥀🕛

4.5 ☆

{ad/pr/gifted}

i have spent the past week getting lost in the world of alex & ophelia and in sorrowsong’s dark, gloomy & mysterious setting. daybreak was the perfect conclusion to this duology and i’m so sad that it’s over, i miss them (alex) already😫

daybreak follows from the insane cliffhanger we were left with in nightshade & wow! i was on the edge of my seat for part of it whilst simultaneously fangirling over mr alex yearner corbeu green and his obsession with ophelia! 🤭

i absolutely loved and admire the way @autumnwoods.author handled alex’s depression. she handled it with so much care, passion & love. alex was literally going through hell but the way he shows up for the women in his life? i am so obsessed🥺

ophelia, my sweet girl! she was so precious and i felt so, so proud watching her find her forever and her place in alex’s world. she really grew into herself in this book and i loved it. her & alex were absolutely perfect for each other🫶🏽

the found family in this book was arguably one of the best things about it. my favourite side character was most definitely vincenzo but they were all incredible in their own ways🥹

thank you so much to @libraryofchlo @bookbreakuk for having me on the blog tour for daybreak! im so grateful! 🥹💜

happy #everyyearafter day to all those that celebrate!! 🥹🐚⛵️🌊

‘every summer after’ is one of my all time favourite second chance romances & i have just finished my reread in time for the tv series!! i am so unbelievably excited to watch this, i hope it exceeds my expectations 🥹

percy & sam’s story is one that lingers in your heart long after you’ve turned the final page. it’s messy, it’s raw & oh, it’s beautiful. a young love that grows into something so beautiful & enduring. the level of yearning and angst in this book is incredible and i really hope it’s just as evident on screen! 🫶🏽

“i loved you so much that the word ‘love’ didn’t seem big enough for how i felt” 🥹🩵

broken country 🏡💛🪾🪽

5☆

please know that i am writing this review with tears streaming down my face. this book has ripped my heart out in a way i cannot describe. at its core, this book is so deeply layered. it explores love, loss, heartbreak & tragedy.

‘broken country’ follows beth, a woman caught between the weight of her past and the life she has built for herself whilst simultaneously battling the heavy grief that comes with the loss of her son, bobby.

when her first love, gabriel, unexpectedly reappears, buried emotions and unresolved choices begin to resurface, forcing her to choose between her marriage and the love she left behind. will she stay with frank, the man that pieced her broken heart back together, or rekindle what she once had with gabriel?

claire leslie hall seamlessly blended together the dual timelines, tugging at my heart with each turn. beneath the romance, it explores the complexities of family, regret, loyalty, and the quiet ways people carry pain throughout their lives.

rather than forcing the reader to pick who they think she should be with, the author urges the reader to see that love is rarely simple and that every choice carries both comfort & consequences.

the twists that kept coming in the last 50 pages had me sobbing and gave me whiplash. also can we talk about the kind of man that frank is?? i love him so much, he deserves the world🥺

this woven kingdom ⋆。°✩👑⚔️💛🪡🌙✩°。⋆

4☆

a tale of hidden kingdoms, fragile identities and the quiet, dangerous pull of destiny- imperfect but undeniably enchanting💫

with this being the first book in the series, i did find it to be a bit slow but that was expected. it always takes me a little while to get used to a new fantasy world but once i did, i was hooked! the writing in this book is absolutely beautiful & magical✨

alizeh, our protagonist- she’s a quiet, layered character with so much depth. her story breaks my heart. she’s strong in a way that doesn’t feel loud or forced. alizeh is not your typical loud, rebellious main character but instead, she’s powerful in her quiet endurance, in the way she survives & in her strength. despite suffering with so much loss & heartbreak, she still has the purest heart🥺

the prose is captivating and the emotions are so powerful. it feels very immersive and easy to get lost in. it’s more of a slow build than action-packed but i actually appreciated that because it made everything feel more meaningful and it’s building a great atmosphere for the next book which i’m so excited for! 🥰

in case you’re wondering.. i am in fact team cyrus already!! we’ve only been given a couple of chapters with him but i LOVE his character and i cant wait 🤭
