It’s been about two years since I’ve done one of these, so it’s time for a refresh!

I’ve been on Bookstagram since 2023, and I’m so grateful for this platform. The book recs, discussions, friends- all of it. Thank you so much for being here! 🫶🏻✨📖

A little about me:

• wife + mom of 2 toddlers 👰🏻‍♀️ 👧🏼👦🏼
• I live in CT 📍
• I have my MA in English 📖
• I’m the oldest of 3 girls- and my sisters are my BFF’s. 👯‍♀️
• I’ve loved reading since childhood
• I love Peloton- my bike and everything about them. 🏃🏻‍♀️
• I am awful with plants, but have managed to keep four alive over the past year, so my collection is growing. 🪴
• I love crafts! Paint by numbers, gem art, puzzles, needlepoint. Crafts + an audiobook= my form of meditation! 🎨🪡🎧
• I am a complete mood reader, and always change it up. Romance, historical fiction, fantasy, and thrillers make up my most read.
• I am a Pisces, and will be 37 this March. ♓️
• My favorite sport is basketball, and we have UCONN season tickets 🏀
• I hate the cold/winter, and I am counting down the days to spring! 🌸

It Runs in the Family by Denise Grover Swank

This was a fun mystery/thriller, and the title absolutely suits the story. The FMC Iris gets visions, and when she’s shown one of her own murder, the detective work began! Involved in it all is her massive family, numerous cousins, and a guy named Boone who’s searching for the same bad guys. This has family drama, suspense, with a little love sprinkled in!

I both read and listened to this one, and I loved the audio! If you’re looking for a quick thriller, I’d recommend!

This is book two in the Cinnamon Springs Series, and I absolutely loved it! I read How To Break My Heart last year, and loved it, so I was so excited to get back to Cinnamon Springs!

This story focuses on Maddy and Elliot, the siblings and best friends from the couple in book one. Maddy leaves her fiance at the alter, and finds herself back in Cinnamon Springs to regroup. It’s there that she sees Elliot for the first time in years, and their connection grows. Their journey was messy, and at times a lot, but the eventual outcome was so worth it!

I don’t read novellas often, but once I saw that this was in the Willow Creek world, I jumped right in. I absolutely loved it, I listened to it in one sitting, and I honestly wish it was a full size book. I didn’t want it to end.

Dakota and Elliot are forced to attend a wedding where both of their exes will be. The kicker- the exes are dating one another. So what else can Dakota and Elliot do, besides also pretend that they’re dating one another!

This was such a fun story, and Brittany Pressley and Chase Brown did incredible on this narration!

Adversary to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Maehrer

This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2026, and unfortunately it just didn’t work for me. This is book four in the series, and while I loved the rest, this one left me super confused and wanting so much more. Regardless, I will always love the first three stories, and of course, Kingsley! 🐸✨📖

This was such a fun fall read! I went in having no idea that this was book two in the Hope Harbor world, but regardless, I still really enjoyed it!

Bonfire & Bliss sounded like the most cozy little bookstore, and the town was complete perfection. Penny and Jake are best friends from high school, who really haven’t seen each other in years. Jake comes back to the small town to fix his writers block, and who knows, maybe spark some flames with his BFF Penny!

This was the perfect cozy autumn read, and I really loved the audio!
