🌟Book Haul Anyone?🌟

What a crazy July and August, I feel like i haven't had a chance to sit down and so anything in weeks. Here are the books I have picked up in the last two months. I have read about half of them so pat on the back for that.

✅️Books Read
Across the Vanishing Sky by Catherine Cowles ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In Her Own League by Liz Tomforde ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Harvest Season by Brynne Weaver ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🗒TBR
Into the Fading Twilight by Catherine Cowles
Tempting Venom by Rina Kent
Harts Landing by Melanie Harlow
The Rule of Three by Sara Cate

What was the last book you picked up?

And of course a moment for the sprayed edges! I know some people dont like having sprayed edges or designs on the edges but I will always think they are so fun.

I thought i had missed out on the Across the Vanishing Sky but I found it at this random Barnes and Noble two hours from my brother's house and he was so awesome and went and got it for me. He was a real MVP.

And really the same with In Her Own League but I happened to find it at a random Target that I stopped at and you better believe I snatched it up so fast. by @readwithloni

💌Bookish Mail!💌

I got the BEST book mail! I love @fureverbooked and can not wait to show off my case to anyone who will listen.

This case is a stunning colab that Kasey did with a local tattoo artist.

If you are in the need for a kindle case or even just some fun bookish stuff definitely check out Furever Booked!

💜Hi, Hello💜

I took a break! but now I am trying to come back. I have a lot of catch up posts that I am going to try to get out. I have a lot of books i want to talk about. I am excited to get back into tbr prep and balancing the books.

Currently Reading: The Never List by Jade Presley

Love a Why Choose romance, this one definitely feels a lot slower than the first book but the FMC is doing a lot of relationship building with the MMCs.

Hoping everyone has had a good couple of months, let me know if i missed anything and ill hop over to your page and give it some love. by @readwithloni

🥰Currently Reading🥰

Gonna be real, but this is currently what my kindle looks like. I'm pretty much not reading anything else.

I used to read Manga all the time in high school and its been calling to me again. I've been revising some of my favorites like Maid Sama! and Ouran High School Host Club. Definitely trying a lot of new stuff too. (check out the second slide to see what i currently have downloaded)

I am mostly getting it through my library so a lot of it is older or popular series but I would love to know other favorites!

🥰Series Included🥰
Dandadan
I Think Our Son Is Gay
Maid Sama!
The Way of the House Husband
Mr. Villains Day Off
Witch Hat Atelier
My Happy Marriage

🐍May TBR Jar🐍

Super happy to be in May! May officially feels like we are into summer time for me, I know its not official yet but the vibes are there. This is our first year living in South Georgia and we definitely hit those summer temps I am used to a lot earlier than I am used to.

This month we are plugging away at a lot of series that I am in the middle of. Really trying to get my series count down. Maybe a book series audit will be coming soon, still trying to think about the logistics of that one. If you have any ideas let me know!

What are you looking forward to in May?

🐍Books Included🐍
Johnny by JA Huss
Blame It On the Tequila by Fiona Cole
Folk Around and Find Out by Penny Reid
Twisted Throne by Danielle L. Jensen
Never Been Kissed By Timothy Jonovsky
All Fired Up by Dylan Newton

🌸Rites of a Starling🌸

Rites of a Starling by Devney Perry
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🌸One Sentence Synopsis
The migration is almost here, and the only person who makes me feel safe I had to run from.

🌸POV
First, Dual
There are a few chapters from POV other than from the main 2 POVs

🌸Audio Details
Duet
Each female POV is a different narrator, while all male narration is done by Jason Clarke
Samantha Brentmoor- Odessa
Megan Wicks- Caspia

🌸Tropes
- Magic and Monsters
- Found Family
- Road Trip

🌸Main Characters
FMC- Odessa & Caspia
MMC- Randsom & Andreas

🌸Thoughts
There is so much world building in these books. Devney is so clever with the way her foreshadowing and how she leaves clues. I think there are quite a few things that we are supposed to guess before they are revealed but there were some things that we still have no answers for and I can not wait to find out about them in the next book. The POV change i think was really interesting and helped with the world building but it did make the story feel that much longer. For me, the ending was gut wrenching. There were so many times I had to stop the audio just to wrap my head around what just happened. Just like with the last book I feel like this one leans more fantasy than romance and I think that is where a lot of readers are being lost.

📱Kinlde TBR📱

Im going to be so honest, I am so bad at keeping up with my kindle TBR. It is very much out of sight out of mind. There are so many books that I want to get to that I just forget exist because it is all on kindle and not an audiobook or physical book.

This is really just the tip of the iceberg on the books that I am hoping to get to soon. I really hope that I am able to stay focused on these ones and not get sidetracked.

What are some books you are really hoping to get to?

📱Books Included
Show Me How by Hannah Cowen
Braving the Storm by Elliot Rose
In Her Own League by Liz Tomforde
Twilight of Embers by Tessa Hale
Bad for Buisness by Kat Singleton
The Lost Kings by Ashley Munoz by @readwithloni

🐸Balancing the Books🐸

We have made it to April, really proud of us for all surviving until now. I was still really good about not buying books in March and so my physical TBR was thankful. We got the full total down to 15, which is really where I want to be, and we got rid of one book off the physical TBR!

Do you keep your unread books with your read books, or do they have there own shelf/space?

🐸Books Included🐸
Dom by SJ Tilly
Jujutsu Kaisen by Gege Akutami
Good Spirits by BK Borison by @readwithloni
