(1/3) MEET THE READER 🤓✨📚

Hi! Thanks for being here! ☺️ | started my bookstagram on a whim in August 2024, and it’s quickly become the highlight of my days!

I’ve loved meeting fellow readers and bookstagramers (IRL and through social media), and thought it would be good time to update my “About Me” post to kick off the new year!

Here are 5 other quick fun facts about me:
1. I could bake my homemade cinnamon rolls every day for the rest of my life and would never get sick of them
2. My 2 black cats are 6 years old, named Chai and Oolong aka the #kitTEAS, and Lin Manuel Miranda once said he liked them! → follow them at @cupofkittteas
3. My nickname is a combo of my first and last names, but I ironically HATE snickers candy
4. I have type 1 diabetes and was diagnosed when I was 13 (and yes, before you ask, I can eat that)
5. I currently have 15 tattoos but have my next 3 (2 of them bookish!) planned out

👋 DMs are always open if you want to chat about books or things we have in common! 🥰🫶 taken in BOOKSTA by @readwithsnicks

October 4th-10th is Banned Books Week 📚 this year’s Banned Books Week slogan is “Let books be.”

Banned Books Week is meant to highlight the value of FREE & OPEN access to information and bring attention to the harm of censorship. Reading is resistance. Like I did last year, I’ve committed to added one banned book to my physical home library per month 📖

Follow @americanlibraryassociation, @banned_books_week for more information and ways to support. taken in BOOKSTA by @readwithsnicks

who’s ready for holiday season and all our holiday reads?!!! 😍📚 Christmas at Fox Ridge ❄️🎄✨ trad release from @baileyhannahwrites is OUT NOW!

Blurb:
When budding artist Eira Davies is caught sketching her best friend’s handsome brother, Lucas McKinney, their subsequent one-night stand is supposed to be nothing more than a fun memory. They live totally different lives, in different cities, so there’s no chance of running into each other after their steamy night of passion, right?

Fast forward six months, and Lucas is desperate to save his struggling ranch. Renting out the spare cabin on his property seems like the perfect solution—until his first guest turns out to be Eira, the woman he hasn’t stopped thinking about since their night together. A true believer in fate, Lucas can’t shake the feeling that the universe has delivered her to his doorstep with a big, shiny bow.

As sparks fly and the Christmas lights twinkle, they’ll have to figure out if this holiday surprise is just a festive fling or if somehow they’ve managed to unwrap the real deal.

Tropes:
❄️ Small town Christmas novella
🎄 Best friend’s brother
❄️ Second chance (after one night stand)
🎄 Cowboy/Farrier x City girl
❄️ Forced proximity
🎄 Cat daddy
❄️ Spicy use of tinsel
🎄 Cowboy strip tease taken in BOOKSTA by @readwithsnicks
