QOTD: How would you grade your week?

Thursday night my friends and I took a drive down to the Keswick Theater to see queens Lucy Score and Rachel Reid in conversation!

It was such a great night being around other loons and being around girl friends always leaves me with such a great feeling. I also love that these events has me reuniting with other book friends!

Lucy was such a great moderator as she was a fan and could joke with Rachel as a fan could. Rachel was hysterical with her answers. She could not tell us much about season 2 of Heated Rivalry but as someone who has not read the other books (yet), made me excited to dive back into this world.   Thank you so much to @harlequinbooks, @bam_pottstown770, @keswicktheatre for a great evening!

One of the best things to come out of starting this account is all the amazing people I've met because of it!

If you're on the fence about attending events because you don't have anyone to go with, go! You'll meet some great people and make some new friends to yap about books with.

And I know I recognized others at the event but I'm horrible with names and unless I'm 100% sure, I'll just stare like a weirdo instead of saying hi 😂

I’m late i know i know!! but i was able to attend the @authorbkborison event on Monday and omg it was such a dream!!! seeing BK again was EVERYTHING and finally meeting @authorlylasage, they are literally the funniest duo ive come across!!

ALSO!! seeing so many besties was absolutely incredible!! I absolutely love this community and how loving everyone is! Yall make life worth it 💓💓

Here is your Grim Tidings recap!
You’ve heard us talk about a few times about how this is the largest event that we’ve hosted to date and honestly it intimidated us.
It excited us.
It stretched us in new ways as a team and as a community and we’re so glad to say that Monday night was a huge success.

We had lots of questions along the way. We had doubts and worries, but more importantly, we HAVE an amazing community who always come along side us and combat all those doubts!

Happy Wednesday! 💜

While I am back in real life, I am still not over the Grim Tidings Release event @charmcitybooks put on this past Monday! A totally cozy event with 500 of my closest friends to celebrate (quite possibly) my new favorite BK book! I don’t know if I can put into words how much Darcy’s story means to me, and the beautiful portrayal of death and love within these pages. 🪽🗡️🐾

I also loved getting to give BK these peony flowers I made with beads! Probably one of the most fun and challenging projects I’ve done in a minute! I was so pleased how they turned out, and I loved both BK and Lyla Sage’s reactions! I have about a million and four photos, but here are some of my favs! 🥹☺️

I’ve been trying to come up with a caption for …. A few minutes now.
I wanted to write something special, eloquent, maybe even profound. But to be honest, all I can think to say is how grateful I am and how full my heart is.

@charmcitybooks put on such a wonderful event last night to celebrate the release of Grim Tidings by @authorbkborison ! In conversation with @authorlylasage . It was so beautiful to see the love, friendship, and care for one another that is shared between BK & Lyla. Also I know you know this but they are so funny??? The whole crowd was dying laughing.

I also got to see so many of my friends and I could just cry thinking about how sweet everyone was. I made buttons (along with @readwithsnicks , your resident button girls) and custom tote bags to celebrate Grim Tidings and Free Falling. We handed out our buttons and asked people if they wanted to sign the tote bag while we were in line and waiting after the conversation.

Getting to give BK and Lyla their gifts, and talk to them for a few minutes was so magical.
Thank you, again, for everything 💕

Hi booklings, happy Monday :) I know I’m a little late to the monthly wrap up party, but better late than never 🤸🏻‍♀️

August was… a month. One filled with a lot of grief, anger, sadness, but also gratefulness

❓What was your favorite read in August? OR what are you currently reading?

Truth be told I purposely leaned in to some good old fashioned escapism in August. I mean, is there a better way to feel better about the bullshit you’re going through than to read about someone else’s? 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I read 3 memoirs lol as well as a sports romance, a cozy fantasy, a historical thriller, and ya fiction. The mood reader in me struck again!

Huge thank you to the tagged publishers and friends for the gifted copies of these books 🩷
