Road To Single Handicap: The Wesley Bryan Method 🏌️ @yippypouches use code RMT for a discount at checkout!

Still struggling with your slice? You’re shallowing the club, you’re not coming over the top, face is square, but still can’t figure it out. There’s a good chance your hands are moving away from your body on your down swing and that’s causing heel/hozzle strikes.

If you watch @bryanbrosgolf on YouTube, you know @wesleybryangolf is famous for his driver set up. Rather than lining the ball up on the toe or center of the club face, start with the ball on the heel. With this set up, you know you have to get your hands back closer to you or else you’ll hozzle the ball or even outright miss is. Doing this technique will build the muscle memory in your hands and lats, that on the downswing, everything needs to come down and then turn while keeping your hands close, not letting them create more space between your body and hands.

Try this drill out if you find yourself continuously hitting the ball off the heel of your club face while on the golf course.

There’s nothing like Pinehurst.

Pinehurst was absolutely incredible this past weekend. Mid Pines will be my golden standard for traditional American golf. So much character. So much history. It might be the perfect golf course.

An hour north lies Tot Hill in the middle of nowhere and that’s how it needs to be. Such a quite, yet powerful golf course that didn’t require earth to move around for a golf course. The course moved around the earth. 18 picture perfect signature holes. Tiny rustic farmhouse as the club house. This one was special.

Southern Pines. A good course. A course you could call home. What looks to be a subtle regular course weaved through the tall pines, engulfs you and makes you feel like you’re the only one out there. A course that challenges you with short shots off the tee and long approaches onto the green. Every club in the bag is required to use. A lost art in today’s golf scene.

Pinehurst deserves the rights to be called home of American golf. taken in Pinehurst, North Carolina by @realmatthewthomas

Wealth isn’t measured in how big your house is or what car you drive. It’s much simpler than that
