I think there's definitely this unspoken belief that EITHER you look after your work so you can be successful (whatever that means for you)

OR you look after yourself and put your business/career on the back-burner.

It's why I don't love the phrase 'work-life balance' because there's this sense that you're on a tightrope and you're always about to tip one way or other over that balance.

So I love the option that Sonya of @realworldcreatives reminds us of: finding a way to genuinely enjoy both, in a way that's integrated and harmonious and complementary to each other - not one, or the other, or balancing precariously between the two.

We get into what this really can look like in her episode on 'notes on being unruly' - up on the podcast now. Look for Sonya Highfield or episode 34 by @realworldcreatives

This quote is one of my favorite lines from the channeled Pathway Prayer (by Linda Howe) that I use to open the Akashic Records.

I believe this soul healing work is truly not a selfish path because it's set up to serve the highest good of everyone.

If you're eager for a space that nurtures your highest self, offers gentle energy healing & options for individual soul guidance each month
