POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

⏰ For many business owners who take time off, they tend to have one (or both!) of these emotions:

1️⃣ Guilt for taking time for themselves instead of being available around the clock for their clients.

2️⃣ Fear of losing momentums and clients by taking time off and not being readily available.

Debjani Biswas of WOLF GROUP, Sonya Highfield of @realworldcreatives, and Rachel Meltzer of Meltzer Seltzer share how you can get past those feelings and truly enjoy your time off.

I think there's definitely this unspoken belief that EITHER you look after your work so you can be successful (whatever that means for you)

OR you look after yourself and put your business/career on the back-burner.

It's why I don't love the phrase 'work-life balance' because there's this sense that you're on a tightrope and you're always about to tip one way or other over that balance.

So I love the option that Sonya of @realworldcreatives reminds us of: finding a way to genuinely enjoy both, in a way that's integrated and harmonious and complementary to each other - not one, or the other, or balancing precariously between the two.

We get into what this really can look like in her episode on 'notes on being unruly' - up on the podcast now. Look for Sonya Highfield or episode 34

In this Healing Insights feature, vetted healer Sonya @realworldcreatives shares one of her favorite Akashic Records prompts: exploring a past life where you were well compensated for your gifts and doing work you truly enjoyed.

What if looking at that version of yourself could inspire a new perspective on success, fulfillment, and the kind of work you’re meant to create in this life?

Sometimes, the past can help us see what’s possible for the future.

Meet Sonya and explore the healing practitioners in the Find Your Healers community.

Glittering star filled skies, temps in the 70’s, so much seafood, sipping cocktails, sea breezes, toddler adventures, seeing old friends and plentiful time to relax with family. I feel rejuvenated! Grateful to spend a week of August on the coast of Maine!💙

Flashback to 2015 when I had this crazy creative energy I didn't know what I was going to do with, but I got a calling from the universe to SPEAK and I followed the pull- with nooo idea it was going to lead me down the path I've been on the last 11 years.

Photographer -> Speaker-> Business Coach-> Soul Guide Channel !! It's been a wild journey and I'd love for you to tune into this episode on Spotify if you're not sure where you're going next, feel your intuition is leading you somewhere illogical or just want to hear some real talk from someone who pivoted into a whole new career she didn't expect to be in 🙃

I’m putting on the song I can’t get out my head, while lifting a La Croix for hydration & celebration before the long weekend!

May has certainly been a bit of a whirlwind for us Birds & Bears. As you look through these snapshots, I think it’s pretty clear why we call this space The Bird & Bear Collective.

We work & play, read & move, learn & lead, connect & collaborate, shop & support local. We hold space the intersections across creativity & wellness, leadership & impact, friendship & community, care & curiosity and the beautiful mess & impact that happens along the way.

This is where we nest, rest, explore & soar ~ in our similarities and differences ~ and as the many types of birds & bears who are braving this local wilderness.

We hope you get to enjoy the long weekend and the unofficial start of summer.

We are open Friday 10-4 & Saturday 10-2!

Here’s what I've noticed about visionary leaders I've worked with.

They know they are here for more.

They know they see deifferently.

They have depth.

They have medicine.

They are meant to lead.

But the nervous system goes,

Cool. But is it safe to fully become her?

The real issue is do I trust myself enough to fully commit to what I know?

Sonya brilliantly, in true 5th line fashion，zoomed in on the pattern.

You're always aligned with your soul but are you doubting your knowing?

Moving out of the Logician into the Magician.

Helping you to own thr bigness of what you see and build capacity to execute.

5th Line Leaders，This is Gold.

Your aura transmits the energy that you can "fix" and help others....

People can project onto you the expectations that you have all the answers...

When in reality, the 5th line's power is to use this and be the mirror.

Comment "5th Line" and I'll send you the link to Episode 8 of the Sovereign CEO Podcast:
