POSTS STORIES REELS

We landed Monday. The jet lag was a DOOZY, even with my Timeshifter app doing its best (kids up at 3 + 4am, then fighting naps). And somewhere between the boxes, I noticed something.

For the past year I was carrying two open questions that were heavier than I knew: were we staying in Italy, or leaving? And a surgery I’d found great reasons to put off for years. Both are behind me now..... and closing those loops has given me more energy than the cappuccinos. I live in Italy. That’s saying something.

So I’m making a change. When I pitch a publication or a podcast, I don’t pitch what looks strategic on paper. I pitch what I’m excited about, what I feel a burning desire to make known, what I can’t wait to talk about. That’s what I teach..... and I haven’t been holding my own content to the same bar. From now on, everything I put out in the world clears it.

The carousel is my list. You get first pick.

To be clear, I’m not crowdsourcing my autonomy :) Anyone who has ever sat within voice range of me at a dinner table (or a conference, or a classroom I got in trouble in for talking too much) knows I can talk about all of it. I want to know what you want FIRST.

Comment your number(s)!! by @rebeccacafiero

This carousel is our “how it started vs how it’s going” for @gopitchwell

In May, it was an idea scribbled after an innovation event and a slightly unhinged six-hour AI deep dive.

By June, Katie @kpass_ and I were mapping the product, the market, the non-negotiables, and what we refused to build.

By July, dev was turning the vision into real software.

In September, @haleylancaster_ joined us to support with strategic growth!

Then things got loud in the best way.
50 users. 200 users. 300 users.
1,000+ personalized pitches generated.
45% open rate on sent pitches.
3.8 million podcast hosts + journalists on the platform!

Also, yes, we built most of this while I was living in Italy with my family. Because apparently I like a challenge with a cappuccino.

PitchWell is for credible experts who are done waiting to be “chosen.”

We all want those dream features…. Forbes, Entrepreneur, Business Insider.

Because let’s be honest…seeing your name in lights never gets old!

But after nearly a decade of landing them (for myself and for hundreds of clients), I’ve learned the real magic isn’t just getting the feature…

It’s knowing how to turn that spotlight into momentum.
Into trust.
Into opportunities that don’t just make you visible….they make you in demand.

When we teach profit-driven PR, the goal is never just the press.

It’s building the kind of credibility that shortens your sales cycle, opens doors before you knock, and positions you as the obvious choice.

That’s exactly why we built Pitchwell… to help you pitch smarter, follow up faster, and turn every yes into lasting leverage!

If you’ve been waiting for your “media moment,” this is your sign.

Fall break, southern Italy edition!!
a week with the kids (no school but a tight race schedule. Ortigia, Taormina, Sorrento, Naples). thousands of kilometers, 4 days of racing. Olive along with us for all of it.

A national race in pouring rain (more on that tomorrow), Pompeii with the kids, a stomach bug in Taormina (AGAIN), countless hours of driving, and tonight, finally…. unpacking at home. by @rebeccacafiero

Our second Halloween in Italy without a “Halloween” and it hits differently. The kids dressed up for school (last year, Luca dressed as a go kart driver……this year he’s wearing his uniform at a national race)! Vivi is Hermione but didn’t feel like a costume today (she picked camo jeans to be a “teenager”).

While I don’t miss the candy or being the neighborhood “healthy mom”, I definitely miss the neighborhood trick-or-treating party and walk, seeing our littles so excited and of course, the hilarity of the costumes (and the expressions)!

Because trick or treating is less of a thing here, in honor of Halloween’s past, loving remembering these sweet memories!!

*All Saints + All Souls Day are the bigger events here, which happens tomorrow + Monday! It’s the day to honor the saints, as well as loved ones who have past. by @rebeccacafiero

I made all my voting decisions this week without knowing one candidate’s name or party…..on purpose.

I take voting seriously (former investigative journalist..... elections were one of my first beats, and verifying is my wiring). Still, every election ended the same way: hours with the voter guide, confidence on the big races, and on the rest, trusting labels or how people I respected voted. I knew that wasn’t good enough. I just never had a month to do it properly.

So this year I gave that month to AI and kept one rule: I would not learn a single name until I had already chosen. It interviewed me first (eight questions, answered out loud), then read the voter guides, court records, fiscal analyses + the candidates’ own words, and brought every race back to me blind: Candidate A vs. Candidate B, judged on my values and their records.

Twenty minutes of interviewing. Another hour going through what it found..... the whole thing took less than two hours, and I don’t think I’ve ever walked away feeling more confident in my choices and the reasons behind them. I ended up with a slightly split ticket I’d never have landed on the old way, and a question I think every voter deserves to sit with once: did knowing the party change anything? Should it have?

I’m not here to tell you how to vote. I won’t even tell you how I voted. I’m just handing you the tool I used to figure out how I wanted to vote.

Comment BALLOT and I’ll DM you the free guide (3 pages: the method + the exact prompt to paste into your AI..... I use Claude, and it works on most of them).

It works the same whether you lean left, right, or nowhere in particular. It never asks, and it never tells.

And if you love someone who votes by habit, send them this. Election day is November 3. by @rebeccacafiero

I know you’re the best at what you do. YOU know you’re the best at what you do. But ChatGPT may not be telling everyone else that.

Your next client isn’t scrolling your feed..... they’re asking AI who to hire. And AI reads a trail: podcasts, quotes, features, press. Muck Rack just analyzed 25 million+ links cited by ChatGPT, Claude + Gemini, and 84% of AI citations come from earned media. Paid ads? 0.3%. You can’t buy your way into that answer, and for every founder who’s ever been outspent, that’s the best news of the year.

Starting tomorrow, I’m teaching exactly how to build your trail, live: The Visibility Sprint, three days, about an hour a day, 10am PT. Days 1 + 2 are free, and Day 3 is the $47 hands-on Build Lab.

Comment “SPRINT” and I’ll DM you your complimentary seat.
Comment “VIP” and I’ll send you the Build Lab invite.

We start tomorrow! Come be the name AI recommends.

48 hours back in Ortigia, and I cried at the prosciutto counter.

We landed Friday night with Etna smoking out the plane window, got the kids takeout, tucked them in, and snuck out for a grown-ups’ night. The piazza around the Duomo at 11pm, completely empty..... pure magic, and all ours.

Saturday we picked up Valentina’s little Italian best friend, the one who cried for hours the day we said goodbye. Language is still a challenge for the two of them, and they love each other in the fiercest way anyway. I let them take my phone through the Museum of Illusions while Olive and I waited in the lobby, and the videos confirm my daughter gets her sense of drama from me.

Then I walked to my grocery store and the happy crying started. Davide, my pharmacist, catching me up like I’d never left. The woman behind the prosciutto case coming out to hug me and ask about the kids (she still remembers the day I sent them in alone with a shopping list in Italian + English). Tourists stopped me for directions (some things don’t change), and I slipped right back into my old role as the unofficial English-speaking tour guide of Ortigia. My best advice hasn’t changed: get lost. You’re never more than 10 minutes from the sea.

Sunday we celebrated the first wedding anniversary of two of our favorite people at the vegan restaurant we’ve missed since the day we moved (we’d walked past the church where they married the day before). We saw Molly + Noah, surrogate auntie + uncle to my kids, had lunch with friends from Germany + Turkey and their darling kids, and I got a few hours with my Sicilian friend Lara, who speaks no English..... a little Google Translate, a lot of reading each other’s energy, same as always.

Before the train, I stopped at the Duomo. Something about a place built 2,600 years ago, still standing through every ruler and religion it has outlived, reminds you that we go on, even when right now feels like too much.

I’ve never had a harder time saying goodbye to a place. And I’ve never been more excited to say hello again. by @rebeccacafiero

7 weeks, 5 countries, 1 new school, 1 real move (our fourth in 14 months, this one with a stomach-flu kid) and a @gopitchwell milestone !! I went quiet here because I was busy living it..... the whole stretch is in the slides :)

The short version: the kids are thriving at their new international school near Verona, we finally unpacked for real, Luca took his first-ever first place podium in Sicily (and races there again this weekend), I watched my co-founder get married in Spain, found my favorite food in Europe in Portugal (sorry, Italy), beat the jet lag in New York, and hosted a room full of founders at SF Tech Week. PitchWell crossed 700 users in October.

Spain + Portugal get their own post Sunday, because that weekend deserves more than one slide!! by @rebeccacafiero

I realized something this week: I’ve spent six months waiting. To heal. To move. To get the kids settled. To feel ready.

Then I opened @gopitchwell and almost deleted every pitch I wrote a year ago. I thought they were the bees knees then. Now? I’m already a different person.

So here’s your permission slip for Q4: you don’t have to pick up the goals you set nine months ago. Pick up the evolved version….wiser, maybe rawer, simpler, more you.

Clarity rarely comes from sitting in the same spot. It comes from moving.

What’s one goal you’re picking back up this retrograde week to…….and what’s your evolved version? 👇 by @rebeccacafiero

I’m the CEO of an AI tech company (all things visibility)..... and I used to call myself the “non-technical founder.” In the past year, that story died. Alongside my brilliant co-founder + dev team building @gopitchwell I’ve been building my own agents, strategists + other projects, and for the past few months, helping friends + clients build theirs.

The recipe: massive curiosity, an investigative journalist brain, and the firestarting impatience to not wait a year for anything.

Here’s the thing: I’m fiercely about protecting + lifting up the human THROUGH ethical, transparent use of AI.

Nothing I build replaces me as a human. It replaces the tasks + projects that drain me..... which has given me back time for my very human hobbies (reading, chess, travel, long talks with friends) and, honestly, my creative + visionary state.

My favorite recent build: my HEALTH BRAIN. It started with a come-to-Jesus number (my “health age” came back OLDER than my actual age, after 4.5 years alcohol-free, whole foods + 15-20K steps a day) and a friend’s words in my ear..... one of the leading educators on outcome-based health for women: women in their 40s + 50s think they’re losing their drive, their edge, their energy. So much of it is hormonal health.

So, mid-mammogram in Italy with a male technician I could not understand, I started building it in my mind, then in my parked car after. Five years of wearable data, my 23andMe, years of labs, my family history, my favorite protocols..... one brain that knows every layer of me. The results are in the carousel. (And no, it doesn’t replace my doctors or my labs. It connects what no single specialist could ever hold.)

None of it feels restrictive. It feels like freedom..... and I have a plan to get my health age into the 30s this year.

Comment BRAIN for the simple setup instructions (free). Comment HEALTH for info on a 90-minute call where I build it WITH you. My excitement to build these is..... unmatched.

He drives me crazy + challenges me daily (6’8” of robotics engineer will do that + Virgo, Enneagram 3 married to an Aquarius, Enneagram 7)! And real talk, being challenged can make me mad, but more importantly, it makes me better.

And watch him with our kids. He doesn’t just show up to their things….. he rearranges our whole life around them. Flag football weekends in California became race weekends in Italy.

I’d choose him again x 100000000000.

Also, those legs 😍🤩 by @rebeccacafiero
