Happy Black History Month! ✊🏽

In response to the horrific murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Daniel Prude & other wrongful slayings of those lost in 2020, the state of Delaware has taken a stand to fight against the system racism & oppression many minorities face.

The Racial Equity Consortium is a statewide initiative designed to address the inequities faced within the black and brown community.

Consisting of social service leaders across the state of Delaware, REC will be addressing disparities with housing, economic development, health and wellness, criminal justice & so much more.

For more information on how to support , be sure to follow us and visit our website- www.delawareconsortium.com

With nearly 300 people registered, our first-ever Unapologetically Black Conference—in collaboration with the @delegislativeblackcaucus —was a major success! 🔥

A huge thank you to our phenomenal speakers, sponsors, and supporters for making this possible. From economic empowerment to education and beyond, our panels provided tangible steps to move our communities forward—even in the midst of chaos.

As we honor our rich history, we must channel the same resilience our predecessors had. In 2025, that resilience is needed now more than ever. The Racial Equity Consortium is committed to leading the charge for lasting change in Black and Brown communities.

Stay tuned—this is just the beginning.✊🏾

🗳️ Have you ever wondered what happens to election results after you cast your ballot?

In Delaware, election results follow a secure, step-by-step process:

1️⃣ Results are collected from voting machines onto dedicated USB drives.
2️⃣ The drives are physically transported to state facilities.
3️⃣ Results are transmitted through a dedicated election network that is not connected to the internet.
4️⃣ The results are consolidated, formatted, and securely saved.
5️⃣ Unofficial election results are published for the public to view.

Each step is designed to protect your vote and maintain the integrity of Delaware’s elections.

Being an empowered voter means understanding not only how to cast your ballot, but also how your vote is protected after it is cast.

📲 Save and share this post with your family, friends, and community. Accurate information helps build informed and confident voters!
