POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Giving some love to the @atari (Atari video music)
The first music visualizer of its kind meant for home stereos of the the 70s.. The visualizer lasted roughly only one year in 1977.. the high price tag and the seizure causing 70s geometric visuals maybe added to it now being defunct… (but popular now among people like me). The visualizer can be seen in movies like Over the Edge, and in music videos with the band Devo.

The video screen is in full color (it doesn’t translate well on camera) super tripped out in all of its 70s splendor.

Here’s a short reel capturing moments with my friends from the 90s and beyond. We’ve shared great times together, even if life has taken some of us far away or we’ve lost a few along the way. I didn’t go to college (I went to Trade School) but I like to say I attended The Grateful Dead university with Jerry Garcia as my life coach. It was a journey of learning that continues to this day. Some have seen these pictures before and some haven’t… with @bobweir ‘s passing it’s more important than ever to be reminded who helped inspired us.. 🌹❤️⚡️

They’ll get you anything with that evil smile
Everybody’s got a drug dealer on speed dial, well
Hey, hey, I wanna be a rockstar..

I’m lying here thinking about all the friends I’ve lost in my lifetime and how I miss them all.. a kinda depressing thought, but it happens when a certain song comes on and you immediately think of them…

It’s been happening a lot when I hear Johnny Cash, Randomly (Jim J) Black Sabbath (Dave M) and Nickelback (Joe R) yes, he loved Nickelback and didn’t give a Sh*t if you didn’t ..
