🎬 LIGHTS. CAMERA. OPPORTUNITY.

Celebrating the 10 graduates of Reck League’s 2026 Employment Mobility Initiative! 🎓

For 12 weeks, these young creatives gained hands-on film industry experience, learning production, lighting, acting, videography, sound, and more.

What began as training became a real capstone film, with our students serving as both cast and production crew. They finished with on-set experience, industry knowledge, professional confidence, and proof that everything is possible when opportunity meets potential. In addition, each participant received a $1,000 scholarship to prepare them for the next phase of their educational journey.

Special thanks to our workforce partners, MIG and Abstrak Global, for providing a real experience that can lead to real careers.

Stay tuned for exciting news about the film’s release! 🍿

Is your business interested in sponsoring a student in our next Employment Mobility Cohort? Send us a DM.

Pushing Through Fear✓

📚✨ This week during 1+1 mentoring program, we pushed through our fears to conquer reading! As mentors, we knlw a safe space creates room for growth.

Learning to read can feel scary. New words, unfamiliar sounds and the fear of making mistakes can make us want to give up. But every page turned, every word sounded out, and every mistake corrected is a step toward confidence. 💪🏾📖

Reading is more than a skill. It’s a key that opens
doors to education, independence & opportunity
This week after building we Practiced & Persevered. We will help them CONQUER this reading challenge! ❤️📚

It's something in the air and it sounds like change. For every person that we think wont recieve the message, there's someone who will. Our only true choice is to continue to push forward, affect those we can touch. Let your conversations influence lifestyle changes to listening ears. 1+1 Initiative
