SHOP UPDATE:
Lead times will be 2 weeks for band work, 1 week for simple helmet work, and my PAINT LIST IS CLOSED.

First and foremost this is not a sappy, feel bad for me post. It’s honesty, accountability, and real. Over the last few weeks I have slipped up with lead times, work flow, and time management. Things have been delayed, pushed off, and simply not worked on.

2 years ago when I started working on Helmets it was a hobby, an interest, and something related to my passion. Then it turned into helping fireman get into lids they wanted at a reasonable price. Thanks to all of the support or Florida, and other states it BLEW up. I didn’t slow down, I didn’t delay, and I sacrificed time from my family, my FD position, and late nights. This was not something I could continue doing. I have intently slowed down on lead times, slowed down invoices, and have worked as much as I could without sacrificing other things. From this point on I will still be working on helmets, I’ll still be helping fireman, and I will always be here. I am taking this time to focus on my family, my career, and to do things I’ve been neglecting.

Little this, little that. Bunch of 880’s headed out all over the country. A new build G5A headed to the nations capital, and made some new friends along the way.

Heads up! I will have 2 new build 880’s for sale at ancient city, as well as some t shirts and stickers. If you’re going to ancient city you can send me your helmet prior, and I’ll bring it back finished at the conference, or you can send it with me after! by @redcaplids

Haven’t been posting nearly as much lately. Yall get to see the same thing every time. But here’s a bunch of plastics that have headed out since. Bunch of 880’s, a Ben2. All of them brass banded, the right way. A few repaints and some short brims.

Just an FYI work times have been delayed due to supply chain. My next batch of liners won’t be here till next week.
Paint will be roughly 4-6 weeks. I have a few lids in here that need special attention and coupled with the Florida humidity clear coats haven’t been wanting to cooperate. Thank you all for the patience and support. by @redcaplids

We are back from vacation and filling orders. A days worth of RCL880’s headed out. Various builds consisting of brass bands, liners, retro brass, short brims, and chin straps. Just an FYI Red cap lids doesn’t have TikTok nor will I ever sell you anything without an invoice. Do NOT buy something from the fake accounts posted elsewhere. by @redcaplids

A few cairns headed out this week. Red N6A to 5A, deep suspension, flapless liner, and some retro brass.
O code 5A with chin strap clips, studs, flat bend, deep suspension, new short flap liner, and a satin white paint job.
And an N5A with deep suspension, short flaps x2. One with blacked out brass. by @redcaplids

G5A new build headed out for the homie. Kept it simple but super clean.
Repaint I somehow never posted from February. Satin scarlet red, black tets, black retro brass.
And a TL2 brass band with short flaps, bourkes, and a chin strap. by @redcaplids
