I am thrilled and remain grateful for the opportunity to train and sensitise the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream 2 Corps Members at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Ede @omoluabikopa, as part of the World Red Cross Day celebration. ❤️⛑️

From the DRABCD emergency response approach to CPR demonstrations, it was inspiring to see young people eager to learn life-saving skills that can make a real difference in critical moments.

Emergency response is everyone’s responsibility, and awareness is the first step toward saving lives. Proud to serve humanity through the Nigerian Red Cross Society.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made the session impactful. 🤍

*🚑❤️ WORLD RED CROSS DAY — CELEBRATING OUR FIRST AIDERS ❤️🚑*

Today, May 8th, we celebrate the heroes who show up when it matters most.
The ones who run toward emergencies while others step back.
The calm voices in moments of panic.
The steady hands that bring hope, care, and comfort.

To every First Aider in the Red Cross Society, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and humanity.
Your willingness to serve reminds the world that kindness is still powerful and that saving lives begins with the decision to care.

You are more than responders.
You are lifesavers.
You are comfort in pain, strength in chaos, and hope in emergencies.

Whether on the field, in classrooms, during events, on the road, or in communities, your impact speaks loudly.

As we mark this year’s World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, we celebrate your dedication to the Fundamental Principles of Humanity, Voluntary Service, and Compassion.

❤️ Not all heroes wear capes; some wear gloves, carry first aid kits, and answer every call to help.

Happy World Red Cross Day to all First Aiders!
Thank you for keeping humanity alive. 🌍⛑️ by @redcross_osun

Today is World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.

Across the world, volunteers and staff from the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement show up every day for people in crisis, responding in their own communities, helping neighbours, supporting families, and standing on the frontlines of emergencies that affect them too.

Because beyond every emergency, every response, and every emblem, there is one truth: we are United in Humanity. #UnitedInHumanity by @redcross_osun
