Behind every precaution is a life worth protecting. Our families, friends and communities all have a role to play in preventing the spread of Ebola.

Stay informed, practise good hygiene, and follow preventive guidance from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). Small actions can make a big difference in keeping those we love safe.

Let’s look out for one another. Share this message with your family, friends and community. Together, we can spread awareness, not fear, and help protect lives.

Your drainage is NOT a dustbin! 🚯

Dumping waste in drainage channels can cause blockages, flooding, and damage to our homes and communities. 🌧️

This Tuesday, remember: a clean drainage is a safer community. Dispose of your waste properly and encourage others to do the same. Small actions can prevent big disasters!

MONDAY MOTIVATION

No act of kindness is ever wasted. Someone, somewhere, is better because you chose to care.

As you step into this new week, remember that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference. A kind word, a helping hand, or simply showing up for someone could mean more than you know.

This week, choose kindness. Choose humanity. Choose to make a difference.

In moments when every second counts, being present can make a difference.

The Nigerian Red Cross Society, Oyo State Branch, through its Emergency First Aid Team (EFAT), was on the ground at Agodi Gardens, Ibadan, following a road traffic incident involving an articulated vehicle and multiple vehicles.

Working alongside OYRTMA, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the Police, our team joined the emergency response efforts to support those affected by the incident.

Our hearts go out to everyone injured, the families who have lost loved ones, and all those affected by this tragic incident. ❤️

We remain committed to saving lives, alleviating human suffering, and standing with people in their most difficult moments.

Sometimes, the strongest people are fighting battles we cannot see. A little kindness, a listening ear, or simply asking someone, “Are you okay?” can make a world of difference. ❤️
