Hiii! With a number of new humans here, I thought I would introduce myself. :)

I'm Zoe, the person behind the camera and behind Reddlight Film. I started this journey when my first baby, Redd, was born. He is the inspo behind the name! He was changing so quickly and I wanted to capture every little thing. I had brought a disposable film camera into the delivery room with me and fell in love with the imperfectness of all of the photos. Because of that, when I decided to start up this lil gig, I knew film needed to be at the heart of it.

Before anything else, I am a Mum!! My husband and I are raising our two littles (Redd + Ronnie) as well as our four-legged baby (Rumi) here in Cochrane! We are both from Edmonton however, so we are well versed in all things QE2 (how about that new 120 km/h section huh?!!). Being a Mum has 100% made me a better version of myself and having my own kids has allowed me to connect with other parents in a way I feel like I couldn't before.

I'm also a teacher! I even have my Masters degree in Educational Technology!!! I had to work really hard to earn that bad boy so I do like to bring it up... TEHE. I've taught for six years and my current role (when not on maternity leave) allows me to hang out with grade 8 kids, teach them in the classroom and also take them into nature for extended periods of time to learn from and on the land. It's a pretty sweet gig.

Lastly, I'm a hobbyist at heart. I LOVE taking on new crafts and trying new things. Besides crafting, I also really love being outside and working out! As a family we love to hike and ski and bike and camp and really any other outdoor activity we would probably try it.

Anywho! Thanks for being here and supporting this lil day dream of mine.

OKAY, LOVE YOU BYE! <3 by @reddlightfilm

The Personality Portrait Project is a session very close to my heart. All about capturing your kid exactly as they are right now. ❤️

No perfect smiles, no perfect poses, no pressure to behave. Just loud, silly, weird, wonderful childhood!!!

I’m launching this project at a discounted rate while I build them into my portfolio, which means I’m looking for a handful of wonderfully weird, wildly themselves kiddos ready to step in front of the camera with all their favourite things in tow.

If this sounds like your little, send me a message! Available dates can be booked at the link in my bio. 🫶

When I tell you my heart flutters anytime any 1 of these 5 things happens!!!

Starting a smoll biz is very scary and the imposter syndrome is SO REAL. I question my life choices 500 times a day.

But let me tell you, the adrenaline rush during a session, the connections made, knowing I get to send through a gallery with really special moments, and tapping into my creative side seems to make up for it.

Times are tough out there and IN THIS ECONOMY!!! Woof. But there are so many ways to support your business building BFFs who are just out here living on a dream! (and 4 coffees, and 3 fridge cigs/day).

Okay, thanks for helping your girl out! LOVE YOU, BYE! <3 by @reddlightfilm
