Since 2002, one question has shaped everything we design: how does it make you feel?

Reddymade is a New York-based studio founded by Suchi Reddy and working across architecture, interior design, and public art. Every project, from a flagship Google store to an AI light sculpture at the Smithsonian to the homes people live in every day, starts from the same place: form follows feeling.

We look to neuroaesthetics, the study of how the brain responds to our surroundings, to understand how light, material, and space shape the way people feel, create, and connect.

Reddymade x Calico Wallpaper. A “Luminous” collection.

Grounded in neuroaesthetics, Luminous treats light and color as emotional forces. The gradients began with how specific qualities of light register in the body, from the softness of early morning to a sudden burst of brightness, and unfold across six colorways: Awaken, Beam, Brilliant, Emanate, Flash, and Lucent.

Casacor Miami. Curated in art, composed in color.

For the inaugural @CasacorMiami, we transformed a penthouse at Rise in Brickell City Centre, placing works by Oscar Niemeyer, the Campana Brothers, and Andy Warhol alongside pieces by rising designers.

In the dining room, a Studio Nucleo Primitive table sits on a Richard Prince rug, joined by Studio Nucleo stools and custom painted acrylic benches by Nicole Ackerman. Calico Wallpaper’s Aura in Svad surrounds the room, with lighting by Johanna Grawunder.

A floor plan, turned to face Central Park.

On the Upper West Side, we reworked a two bedroom apartment into a one bedroom home with a larger living space and a dedicated office. The open living, dining, and kitchen areas now share the view.

At the entry, a sculptural paper wall evokes the solidity of stone, its vertical ruts lifting the eye and softening sound. The calm it establishes carries through the entire home.

A rice sieve, scaled to a city.

SIFT transforms the chalanee, the humble rice sieve found in nearly every Indian household, into a multisensory pavilion shaped by the energy and density of Mumbai.

Concentric layers of woven bamboo sieves draw visitors inward along a spiral, filtering light and shadow as they move. At the center, a soundscape by Malloy James (@malloyjamesofficial), inspired by the swish of the sieve in motion, holds a space for reflection within the pace of the city.

Old and new meet underfoot in an apartment grounded in its own history.

Set within a prewar co-op on Beekman Place, the home was reimagined around the way its new owner moves through the space. One of the three original bedrooms became a primary suite and home office, while a custom limestone fireplace replaced the original. The guest bath was transformed into a quiet retreat, centered around a Japanese soaking tub.

Why should we care about neuroaesthetics?

Neuroaesthetics is a translational field that studies how environments, atmospheres, and aesthetic experiences affect the brain and body.

At Reddymade, it is the foundation of our guiding principle, form follows feeling. Bringing science into the design process shows us how the body responds to a space, and can reveal that what we think we need differs from what we actually need.

Our surroundings are active agents in our physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, and design is how we shape them.

The art of collective expression.

Me + You invites visitors to reflect on their visions for the future. Speak a single word into its base, and the kinetic sculpture listens, translating it through AI into a mandala of light, unique to every voice that reaches it.

No mandala stands alone. As more visitors speak, their patterns shift and layer together, each word shaping the light for the person who comes next. What starts as one word becomes something we all shape together.
