⛓️‍💥🧯The ultimate chaos 💋 (unlit) —
based on subverting safety symbolism — Chaotic Candelabra 2.0 (HUDDY version)

Powder coated metal, spray painted plaster & candles — Interchangeable form through magnets — To be placed as as an alarming center piece or in the corner of your apartment that’s always needed something

Inspired by both spikes, metal exhaust pipes, lava, and mold — its form emphasizing these notions of “caution” through universal symbolism that evokes a warning and by subverting “safety symbolism” ꩜⋆.°⭑

My final translation from the 1960s Mercedes Benz Warning Triangle — Using the triangle as a prop, the candelabra represents instability and should be interacted w/ caution

Hand-Cut & sanded metal & silver candle ~ 2” x 2” (ish) — Inspired by the idea of universal symbolism -> “safety” symbolism

Juxtaposing imagery we consider a symbol of “safety” with an “unsafe” use ꩜⋆.°⭑ (w/ my own touch of course Xx)

Designed to be a prop — This oversized pink metal carabiner adorned with 6 mixed media charms representing different aspects of my past and future design practice — including: a $ sign, a safety pin, a bedazzled star, a flip phone, a key, a music note, & an IKEA chair.

“𝓘𝓷 𝓛𝓲𝓶𝓫𝓸”(2023) ༘⋆⭐️👙 ⋆ ⋆.˚🃏⋆✮⋆˙

Two piece interactive artwork/display — exploring ways of making 2D painting morph into sculptural/interactive work.

Subject matter depicts the clowny entity emerging from a tv into our “reality” while their body is positioned in their own surrealist realm — exploring feelings about my identity at the time and the queer notions of feeling trapped in multiple realities. The TV as a transformative space depicting images of “what it could be”.

— Pt #1: 3-D painting on discarded TV - Acrylic paint, foam board, yellow tulle, spray paint, pearls - Each piece mounted on a different plane to give dimension/ shadows.
— Pt #2: Interactive painting - Acrylic paint, yellow tulle, pearls on canvas.

The film: “I Saw The TV Glow” (2024) ended up exploring a lot of the feelings I was exploring in 2023 💌 taken in University of California, Berkeley by @redh0tmartini

“The Weight of the World” (2023) ⛓️‍💥🎟️

Centered on six abstracted layered screenprinted films featuring queer iconography — the piece plays with color and pattern to balance visual accessibility and depth.

Two oversized opera glove-inspired hands, crafted from chicken wire and wrapped in pink silk, are adorned with rhinestone nails and feathers, symbolizing both the elegance and resilience of drag culture.

Contrasting with these gloves are heavy rusted chains, representing oppressive forces past and present, while a broken silver chain offers hope.

The carefree pose of the hands suggests resistance and survival. This project, born from the desire to push beyond rigid printmaking into a more organic process, became an emotional and rewarding experience—validated by meaningful feedback, connection with viewers, and a sense of personal accomplishment.

A deeply personal yet playful sculptural work that responds to recent drag bans and anti-queer legislation with a bold, campy aesthetic.
