Howdy, I’m Tina! The redhead roaming free around here.

I’m a Minnesota lady, mama, foodie, adventure seeker and free spirit who’s happiest when there’s something new to experience.

Give me a restaurant I haven’t tried, a beautiful place to stay, somewhere outdoors to explore, a scenic drive or a spontaneous “why not?” kind of adventure, and I’m in.

I’ve spent years sharing my adventures around Minnesota, but I wanted to create a space with a little more freedom. Somewhere I could wander beyond state lines, explore closer to home, and share whatever I discover along the way.

And that’s how Redhead Roams Free came to be.

Expect stays, eats, experiences, adventures and plenty of whatever I find along the way moments.

Adding this one to my roam list!

My friend sent me this photo from his recent trip to Olympic National Park and now I have another place I need to experience for myself.

This was taken in the Elwha River Valley and between the moss-covered trees and the sunlight coming through this photo is absolutely magical.

A little nervous? Yep.
Did I do it anyway? Absolutely. #noregret

Whitewater rafting in Montana was one of those experiences that reminded me why I love saying yes to something new.

Ryder was such an amazing guide! He had us laughing the whole way! #unforgettable

I don’t want to just visit places. I want to experience them.

This is one #montana memory I’ll never forget.

There’s just something about roaming free that brings me joy.

I want the cozy stay AND the water. The meal worth traveling for, the random roadside stop and the adventure I never saw coming.

Give me the open road, a cozy elegant cabin tucked away somewhere beautiful, dinner made with intention and a new way to experience the water.

I want to go places I’ve never been, try things I’ve never tried and keep saying yes to the experiences that make life feel a little bigger.

Sometimes that means traveling far. Sometimes it means discovering something incredible close to home.

For me, roaming free isn’t about a destination. It’s about the experiences I collect along the way.
