What is a “Bridgeport”?

Somewhere during the 1970s, undocumented, some nameless rotary-tuner removed a strip of metal creating a soon-to-be legendary technique.

Bridgeport intake port timing.

One of the most effective power modifications amongst rotary engine builders is to cut an eyebrow into the intake. Leaving just enough material to support the passing corner seals. This mod effectively provides nonstop fuel entering the rotor chamber.

Great for top end power. At the sacrifice of low-end torque and increased noise in NA use.

Cheers to Dyl @loose___change / Frontline Motors Christchurch for lending us the front plate!
