Redrum 🩸🪓

Obsessed with this wrap skirt from @livelyghosts and the way LA can turn any movie showing into a whole evening experience.

We watched The Shining at the @milliondollartheater, a historic movie palace built in 1918, as part of the @laconservancy ‘s Last Remains series.

They’ve been doing this film showing series since 1987 (Last Remaining Seats).

The Million Dollar Theater is STUNNING. If you ever get a chance, you can take a tour with the LA conservancy to see some of the most beautiful historic buildings in LA, like this one.

Before we got married last fall, we snuck away to Teton Valley Resort for a mini-moon and managed to catch Teton Valley at peak fall 🍂🏔️

The weather was perfect. The aspens were turning gold. The mountains were doing their whole dramatic mountain thing. And Luna got to come with us, which automatically makes a trip 37% better. 🖤

We loved that Teton Valley Resort gave us that cozy mountain getaway feeling without being so far removed that exploring became a whole production.

Why I’d book it:

🐕‍🦺 Dog-friendly: Luna got to come along, which was a non-negotiable for us.
🍂 Gorgeous fall setting: especially if you time it around peak foliage.
🥃 Mess Hall Bar & Grill on-site: and their Old Fashioned was ridiculously good.
☕️ Easy access to coffee + food: there was a yummy coffee shop just down the road for slow mornings.
🏔️ Great home base for exploring: close enough to the surrounding Teton sights without feeling like you’re staying right in the middle of the tourist chaos.
🌲 The atmosphere: cozy, outdoorsy, and exactly the kind of place where you actually want to spend your evenings after a day of exploring.

If you’re planning a fall trip to the Tetons, save this one. The changing leaves + crisp mountain air + cozy resort vibes are basically fall propaganda, and I am extremely susceptible to it.

A pretty damn perfect place to sneak away before saying I do.

No saints, no sinners 🥀

Enjoyed an evening at the haunted Seance Lounge in @murielsnola before our ghost tour later that night 🥃

If you’re ever visiting New Orleans, especially during spooky season, this lounge is the perfect place to go for a drink before the rest of your night begins.

Be sure to say hello to the resident ghost before you leave. They set a table for him every day.

⚰️: The second floor (grab drinks at the bar downstairs)
🗓️: No reservations needed unless you would also like to eat dinner at Muriel’s downstairs. Then, reservations are highly recommended.
