One of the greatest joys in life for me is watching my fellow human beings fully embrace their fear and step into their power. Strength, I believe, grows from vulnerability. Yesterday I was honored to witness humans returning to themselves, wholly, by removing the layers and tapping in through the power of cold exposure. This group did almost four minutes in a 42F ice pool. No small task for the average human nervous system. These brave humans supercharged their immune systems (increased lymphocytes for 6 days after 2 minute cold exposure, look it up). They also proved to themselves that their conscious willpower can override what feels like a life or death experience. They stayed cool under serious stress. They fortified the connection of the power to make a decision and following through with it. Integration is a word often tossed around in modern culture - to me, Wim Hof Method gives us direct access to an experience of real integration - body, mind and consciousness. Something impossible to arrive at through talk therapy (not against it!), pharmaceuticals, illicit drugs or superficial self care.
Physical health, mental fortitude, and cascades of happy hormones belong to those daring enough to do what is difficult. Plus they eliminated inflammation in their bodies and it only took a few minutes. And they had a great time with wonderful people.

I’ll be teaching more Wim Hof Method workshops - beginners and advanced - at the gorgeous @humanaeon private facility in Long Beach, CA.

I find my inner peace in a silent mind, an open heart and a body that responds to nature’s demands.
❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Join me January 27th in Long Beach, CA for my first public Wim Hof Method Fundamentals workshop. Learn the techniques developed by @iceman_hof to take back control of your health, will power and happiness.
In the workshop I will explain the science behind the method, teach a powerful breathing technique through a guided practice, lead a group meditation and we will even take an ice bath so that we can discover our lost inner fire. 🔥 Link in bio! #wimhofmethod #humanresetfactor by @reedwasser
