A very quick trip to Wyoming with Kayla to check out a trade school….ended up having one of the best trips I’ve had in a long long time.. A lot of laughs, an awesome UTV ride, and most importantly, some much-needed time with my daughter. If this isn’t a core memory I don’t know what is 🫶 taken in Snowy Range Mountains, WY by @reegssc5

https://krossinkeuka.org/participants/wakemakers

On July 25th, Connor and I and some lake friends will be swimming across Keuka Lake for Krossin’ Keuka to raise money for the Keuka Comfort Care Home.

The swim is only 0.67 miles, which sounds easy when you’re standing on shore with a beverage in your hand. It sounds considerably less easy when you’re halfway across a lake, swallowing water, questioning your life choices, and realizing boats were invented for a reason.

The good news is that your donation helps support an incredible organization that provides compassionate care for local families during some of life’s most difficult moments. The bad news is that if you don’t donate, I’ll have to rely entirely on athletic ability, which feels unfair to everyone involved.

If you’ve ever:
✅ Been taken out on my boat
✅ Eaten my food at the lake
✅ Caught one of my fish
✅ Asked me for a favor
✅ Enjoyed watching my fireworks
✅ Laughed at one of my jokes
✅ Wanted to see me voluntarily suffer for a good cause

…then this is your chance to contribute. 😉

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated.

And if you’re feeling particularly adventurous (or have equally questionable judgment), join our team: Captain Kyle & The Wake Makers. Whether you’re swimming, fundraising, or just helping spread the word, we’d love to have you aboard.

Donate. Join the team. Help a great cause. And help ensure I don’t swim all the way across Keuka Lake for nothing. 🏊‍♂️🌊🚤

CITY ROCKS HOPE 15U REAGAN

Some clips from Reagan's team this season. They're ready for a final push towards Spooky Nook. With a primary focus on trust their continuity has grown. Team ball for them has allowed player 1 through 10 to share responsibility. This ultimately improved their individual game preparing them for when the ball moves their way. #cityrocks #aau #aaubasketball #bball🏀 by @reegssc5

A wise man once said. “I wish there was a way to know you’re in the good old days, before you’ve actually left them”. Beyond grateful to know this was one of those days and I still have some time to share it with him. I forgot how much I loved this game and he reminded me. He’s caught same bug that got me 30 years ago 🤣 taken in Walworth, New York by @reegssc5
