🎬 Hey, REEL filmmakers and screenwriters!

We’re officially on the road to November, and I wanted to pop in and say hello to all of our 2026 filmmakers, screenwriters, cast, crew, and assorted movie-making weirdos.

We’ve got films coming to Kilgore from all over the damn place, and we cannot wait to get everybody together.

Make your plans. Bring your people. Come watch movies. Meet filmmakers. Make some new friends. Stay up too late.

November 11–14. Downtown Kilgore.

Welcome to REEL, y’all. Let’s make some shit happen. 🎥🍿

The age-old question: Who let the dogs out? 🐶🎶

We’re bringing back DOG-Toberfest at Kilgore Oktoberfest, and this year it’s sponsored by Kilgore Animal Control! 🐾

Bring your four-legged friend to Downtown Kilgore, costumes are encouraged, and let them race for the ultimate prize: a good-boy/good-girl treat! 🦴

Dog races will be organized by size. Please bring only well-tempered dogs and remember to follow all leash laws before and after the race. Have your dogs at the Crim Theatre at 5:45 PM, with races beginning at 6 PM. 🍻🐕
