It’s official!!

Pages of Protest has officially wrapped its first festival run!

16 festivals. 6 U.S. states. 3 countries. 8 awards.

What started as a documentary about activist Da’Taeveyon Daniels and the fight against censorship has taken us farther than I ever could have imagined!

From local festivals to screenings across the U.S., France, and Canada, it has been incredible to watch this story connect with audiences around the world.

I’m so grateful to everyone who helped bring this film to life, especially Leila and Lauren, and to every festival, filmmaker, activist, and audience member who supported Pages of Protest along the way.

And now… on to distribution. 🎥

I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us and to get Pages of Protest in front of even more people.

Thank you for being part of the journey❤️

The age-old question: Who let the dogs out? 🐶🎶

We’re bringing back DOG-Toberfest at Kilgore Oktoberfest, and this year it’s sponsored by Kilgore Animal Control! 🐾

Bring your four-legged friend to Downtown Kilgore, costumes are encouraged, and let them race for the ultimate prize: a good-boy/good-girl treat! 🦴

Dog races will be organized by size. Please bring only well-tempered dogs and remember to follow all leash laws before and after the race. Have your dogs at the Crim Theatre at 5:45 PM, with races beginning at 6 PM. 🍻🐕
