Introducing our latest three-piece DJ unit, built to measure for a loft room and designed to fit up a winding staircase - every panel measured, every section considered before a single piece of wood was cut.

The brief was: a clean, functional setup that could house a high end collection of equipment without compromising on finish. The result is a simple yet effective design built around a high-end setup including the Alpha Recording System MODEL 9100B 4-Channel Rotary Mixer, 2x Technics turntables and 2x Pioneer CDJ-3000s.

The customer moves their Technics and CDJs between inside and outside regularly, so we built two clip on/off lids for each unit to make that as easy as possible. Two detachable monitor stands house the Genelec 8030i monitors. These were built low due to the sloping ceiling! Spacious record compartments sit beneath touch sensor lighting, and a pop up mixer lid gives easy access to cables and power. The whole thing sits on a plinth style base to finish it off.

Every build we do starts with a conversation about how the unit will be used, what equipment you plan to put in it and questions on the space the unit will live in.
