Galaata w/ HashR film by @_sabrinema shot by @chloietherese HashR (@hashirhussain.4) is a London-based DJ and curator, originally from Delhi and Bangalore; cities that deeply shape his sound. Through radio, live sets, and his collective Galaata, he builds spaces that centre South Asian music and community. He describes his sound as cultural bass: global, emotional, rooted in memory. It’s the kind of bass you don’t always hear, but feel moving through your body, your hair, your entire being.
