$Tokyo, Japan November 2025 🇯🇵 I went to Japan with my parents this past November as a late graduation trip. I had a back injury and surgery in 2023 leaving me unable to travel. It really was like stepping into another world in Tokyo. The urgent yet composed hustle of crowds walking the streets and subways, tight spaces that stacked up several stories high, beautiful architecture and amazing food; I could spend hours getting lost in it all. This video doesn’t even cover a fraction of what the experience was like; there’s still a lot missing but these were definitely some great highlights. Taking time to slow down 🍁

A bit of a shift in my content today. I took this hike last week after some big life changes came up. I came up to Guardsman’s Pass with my camera with just one goal in mind; to make something to post here. Anything. It didn’t matter if the content was perfect, the idea was complete or even I was satisfied with it. I just wanted to make and post something.

For the last few months, I have had a major fog clouding my head and my work. I’m not the most confident person and I have a tough time telling myself that my work is good enough, even with all the strides I have made this past year. I always overthink and get stuck in my head about what more I could be doing and what needs to be done, and I stay stuck there for so long that nothing ever gets accomplished.

I wanted to post this today to get out of that headspace. I’m not completely satisfied with the video but I’m sharing it anyways because I didn’t want to overthink it and just get it out there. And I want to apply this to my work moving forward. There are so many opportunities out there as a creator and I haven’t been confident enough to chase them. That changes today.

I’m thankful for all the people I’ve met and worked with this past year for my work. The community here has made me feel like work and skills are enough, even in times when I didn’t believe it myself. This week I have realized that I have all the tools necessary to pursue my dreams of photography, videography and content creation and that I just need to stop overthinking and get after it. 👊🏽
