NOT FROM HERE 💫 Can you spot the difference in this species of female? 👀👀🤭

And just like that…another show has come to completion. 🥹 I had the time of my life preparing for this performance and embodying this character on stage 😩 I’ll be sharing more of my creative process soon, but I wanted to share this footage of my solo and the significance it held for me.

I’ve always felt like an alien in a human world. I had a hard time making sense of the world and my place in it for a long time. I externalized a lot of my decisions and direction. Until slowly I started to wake up to how I had been abandoning my own dreams and desires for the sake of others. Recognizing how that left me feeling like an empty shell with nothing to give. 😔

This performance weaves that story. Of an alien, landing on earth, disoriented and unsure if she’s strong enough to stand on her own two feet, until she realizes that her fear is the only thing holding her back. Bravely choosing to let her curiosity and desires lead the way. Trusting that the unique and different things about her are not flaws, but the magnet drawing her greatest desires to her like a black hole! 👽

Here’s to learning to own all the weird and imperfect parts, and show up to offer the world my authentic frequency. I’m not perfect at it, and I know my path is not meant to be linear. 🌀But I’m so proud of myself for showing up, flaws, quirks and all, and putting my heart and soul into this art. This one was so playful, powerful and an experience I will never forget. ❤️‍🔥

If I can make my dreams a reality, so can you. Don’t give up hope for the future you desire for yourself. Keep doing that 1% every day that gets you closer to your vision, and trust that what’s meant for you will find its way to you. On the other side of your fear, might be what finally sets you free. 🦋

35 today, but my back feels 45. I remember when I was younger and feeling lost, reading about Harrison Ford and how he didn’t get his breakout Han Solo gig until he was 35 and thinking to myself that could never happen to me, and yet here I am, 35 and finally putting myself first and chasing the dreams I’ve always had for myself but were too scared to go after.
