Thank you to @ribalondon for inviting us to host the first-of-its-kind student exhibition 'In Safe Hands'. Last week we welcomed students, RIBA members and the public into our office for an expansive exhibition of student work, as well as a range of events and activities focusing on career progression driven by students, grads and early practitioners - from portfolio workshops, to sessions on “designing a practice” as well as looking at career opportunities in adjacent built-environment disciplines. It was great to see the architecture industry come together, with participants from our own office as well as @htadesignllp, @whittakerparsons, @waughthistletonarchitects, @gpadlondon, @ahmmarchitects, @mulroyarchitects and @carocomms. The panel discussion 'Where Can Architecture Take You?' brought up inspiring conversations with panellists @kuda.mushangi, Katherine Higgins, Tejal Dave-Biyani, Alex Pearce, Catriona Burns, and the panel chair @elliott.wp. It's been wonderful seeing this collaboration gain such traction and popularity, and we are proud to have played a small part in its success!

Studio Lates 2026: Home is...   We had a fantastic evening and enjoyed hosting another exhibition, this time highlighting stories from our team to explore the relationship between place, belonging and community. A preview of our bespoke Home Is... set of dominoes being 3D printed ahead of our @londonfestivalofarchitecture Open Studio exhibition! On the 18th June we will be opening the doors to our studio between 18.00 and 21.00. We are excited to be opening up our studio for another instalment of the @londonfestivalofarchitecture! Our Open Studio event will explore the meaning of home through our exhibition titled 'Home Is...': Home is not only a place that we physically inhabit but also a reflection of who we are and where we come from. It can foster feelings of belonging, evoke memories, offer emotional comfort, and provide opportunities for shared experience. By asking our studio community the question ‘Home is...’ we are creating an exhibition of objects, illustrations, and personal stories, gaining a greater understanding of each other and our different backgrounds. Join us for light refreshments, conversations and an exploration of the relationship between place, belonging and community. What does Home mean to you? The team on 40 Holborn Viaduct have been documenting the evolution of a planter, filled with plants selected for the 'ribbon' which wraps around the building, throughout the months since 2023. The planting, selected by landscape consultant @hed_uk, makes use of a range of evergreen shrubs with a greater degree of biodiversity value, aiming to provide a good balance between screening hedges and a naturalistic edge. --------------------- #EricParryArchitects #ArchitectureToday #ArchDaily #Regeneration #FutureOffice #ArchitectureILike

Our sensitive and inventive design for the R&D Headquarters has taken architectural cues from the characteristics of its natural setting, namely the tropical climate and lush vegetation of Singapore. The plaza leads directly from the public realm and offers a cool dry space for rest, relaxation and informal conversations. At various points throughout the day the space will be lit by a dramatic shaft of sunlight coming through the oculus. With a varied mix of biodiverse planting and soft-landscaping, the space feels like an extension of the nearby landscape.
