Spent the last month in Spain 🇪🇸, It was a lot of fun, I traveled to multiple cities and lived amongst the locals. It was truly a remarkable time, Seeing another part of the world and enjoying it through and through. So many photos, alot of edits coming. I really appreciate you guys for sticking around, tell me if you like the reel, if so Ill try and put some more together. ❤️ One thing I have to add is, Whatever you want to do, go out and do that, or work as hard as you can towards it. Last week Chicago let loose its marvel as the city of winter, -3° on average for several days with lows dipping into -11° never mind the windchill. I take a-lot of pride in this city and its solid determination of survival, to me the city is an elegant beauty both wild and untamed yet with an elegance of something truly special. I ventured into the and the lake front capturing life below freezing, some street photography to bring to light how this city does it; the steam rising off the lake/ river make it almost surreal creating something so beautiful. A few weeks ago during Chicagos first major Snowstorm I was able to catch the Holiday Train. I’ve lived in Chicago for 10 years now and have never had the chance to photograph it. I remember telling @cj.murr “we have to catch it bro, especially in the snowfall”. We planned out the spot and saw it as it rode through the station majestically. My inner child came out grinning in awe, growing up in Desert really distorts your perception of winter and santa, it’s hard to piece together snow when it was 115° yesterday. It was wild, racing down the platform to seeing the magic of Chicago and the creativity of the @chicagocta really helps pull you into the holiday season. I love this city, there’s no place like it.❄️❄️🐻 Also forgive my limited footage my jacket hood kept covering my glasses 🤓 #Chicago #holidaytrain #christmasseason

Tuscany was a pilgrimage for my soul, @hertz hooked it up with a brand new Polestar and let me loose in Siena. I remember driving and overcoming a hill as I hit the crest I pulled over; I broke into tears, the scene was breathtaking, something truly beautiful. I spent the day exploring the region, pulling off and photographing the scenes. I had decided to go to Elysium the shooting location for the film “The Gladiator”. Fam it was hot, I remember hiking down to the spot dodging fleas, ticks, and biting flies; I knelt down as the exhaustion was creeping back up on me. It was then I saw her, I wiped my brow in confusion as I thought I was seeing a mirage. There stood an angel in white and a true sight for sore, tired, and weary eyes. She stood there like a goddess, I kept wiping my eyes because I had been traveling for weeks and was beginning to think I was losing it. I headed back to the car, at which point I checked the images and apparently my street instincts had taken over and I had been snapping. I made the decision that I needed to give her these images. I hiked back out into that Tuscan sun, I found @fationamyftari tucked away, sheltered from that harsh heat, and asked her If I could send her the images; she accepted. Tuscany, Italy embraced me like a child whom never knew home she took me in, fed me, and gave me a place to rest my weary head. I still tear up thinking back about that place and the hospitality I was shown, I am eternally grateful for everyone that I met on that journey in Europe, thank you. 🇮🇹

I had spent the whole day in Monaco and by the time I got back to Nice I was drained and starving. I had gotten a small bite to eat and was headed back to the Tram to take me back to the room. Something started nagging me I couldn’t quite figure out what it was but I decided that I was already down here why not shoot around for a bit. I turned around, boosted the ISO, and spun the lens to wide open; I came out of an alley to the full moon glistening on the Mediterranean. My exhaustion paused as my camera called to me and I answered. I’ve always called myself a romantic and emotional photographer the scenes that night really brought it into focus. IG probably compressed TF out of this but it was a beautiful night.

Goon I prefer to photograph alone, I’ve always been that way. I’m not very good at socializing, so I find it easier to keep to myself. It never feels lonely though, especially when it rains there’s something about the feeling of home in the elements. This past weekend @kellysommerphotography managed to get me out to shoot with @carlosrivera.mx @mzw_87 @layne_ferd . It had been so long since I had gone out with others to photograph, there was definitely a fair bit of comforting nostalgia that I felt out there with a crew. Granted I enjoy my solace, however every now and then a bit of company helps you feel alive.❤️🐻

Photography to me is an escape, it started as a hobby; snapshots of small things, but then the rain found me. I found myself entrenched in an eternal hunt for moments frozen in time, the rain washing away the painted smiles of life leaving behind only the raw and gritty reality of it all. My name is Jude and Street Photography is my passion, there’s something about being outside in the elements, capturing scenes that often go unseen, collecting them and immortalizing them. There’s a beautiful solace in snow, especially when it falls; the entire world silences almost as if to enjoy the beauty of it. Im hyped to get out this season and capture and document as much as I can. Well here’s another Reel, I guess I dont just do street photography anymore I’ve delved into portraits you can find at @eishq.ma . Ive met some of the most beautiful people over the past year and the models have been so kind to a kid with ADHD and a few film cameras @sznvibes and @dtoentertainment 🙏🏾 for making these meets possible. 💽Step -Vampire Weekend This is my first reel so please yall be gentle with me, this is something I thought about at work today. In 2000 something Vampire weekend dropped an album called Modern Day Vampires in the City, the album cover has long sonce been a favorite of mine and I always wanted to capture something like it. I guess its my turn for the trend. Well I guess it my turn, my name is Jude Howell and I have ADHD and Aspergers. My whole life people have told me to act normal and told me what I can and cant be and have honestly just treated me like ish, but after 34 long years I honestly dont care anymore, Ive been taking photographs for years, it’s a passion of mine, one of which I neglect at times. But nothing feels better than having a camera in my hands. I’ve met some truly amazing people in my life through photography, life long friends actually. Ive taken my camera several different countries and one combat zone. From film to digital it’s all truly beautiful.
