"Opening the Vault at the Presidential Libraries" is here through July 5, and that means you have just a little time left to walk through the same room as the Louisiana Purchase, the Korean War Armistice Agreement, Brown v. Board of Education, and the original design for the Great Seal of the United States.

The good news: when "Opening the Vault" closes, the story doesn't stop. "Ike's Work" opens July 1, a look at the speeches, letters, and documents of Eisenhower's presidency in his own hand and his own voice.

One exhibit ends, another begins, and the Library keeps telling the American story all summer long.

What you are hearing right now is the @Salina Symphony in one of their final rehearsals for one of the most meaningful concerts of the year.
On June 6, the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, they take the stage on the grounds of the Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene for the Symphony at Sunset D-Day Commemoration Concert. Patriotic classics. Music drawn from the Library's own archives. Eisenhower's personal favorite pieces. The Salina Symphony Youth Choir. The 1st Infantry Division Band. The Blades.

All of it, free, under the Kansas sky, on the campus where Eisenhower's story began.

Free museum admission all day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. And don't miss Opening the Vault, our landmark America 250 exhibit featuring original documents from the National Archives, also open that day.

Can you hear that? That’s the sound of the Salina Symphony and the Salina Symphony Youth Choir hard at work, preparing to bring the house (well, the campus!) down this weekend! We’re going behind the scenes at rehearsal as the incredible musicians, under the baton of Yaniv Segal, perfect the patriotic classics and Eisenhower-era favorites that will define this year's Symphony at Sunset.

This isn’t just any concert—it’s a massive triple-threat of a celebration:

📍We are commemorating the 82nd Anniversary of D-Day on the very grounds of the Eisenhower Presidential Library.
📍We’re kicking off the festivities for America’s 250th Birthday (America 250)!
📍It is the Grand Finale of the Symphony at Sunset series—the 12th and final performance of a beloved 14-year tradition.
